    It's defiiately different than the XJ, My XJ is lifted 4.5" and full RE and Core. This is more like a shifting from a dead stop which makes a knock noise than a worn control arm or U joint shift.

    Mine was a combination.. #2 and #4 FI dripped and did not close, #5 cylinder random misfire. and 1391 Cam sensor. Replaced cam, crank, IAC sensors, All coils with Mopar, Champion plugs, and new injectors, (not refurb). Reset ECM at the dealer (friend works there). drove and everything fine...

    I'm on 255/70s on the Moabs on a bone stock '02 Renegade with worn rear springs.. The front rubs the liner and right through to pinch weld. I'll take care of that when I install my 2" lift.

    Sudden Extreme Shuddering

    Check the front D/S CV joint. If the boot is torn and the joint is dry and water got in there.. It's going to make a hell of a vibration or noise and both.. Mine was and that was my vibration.

    Unfortunately, my local Dealer was uninterested in selling me or looking up the part when someone walked in asking for side steps for a 2017 Rubicon. I ended up buying a Standard brand part from Napa which usually had good experience with.

    I just installed brand new injectors (not refurb or cleaned) and has a full fuel system cleaning. I'll look into the rail when I get deeper in.

    I will check into the TPS.. I figure it's one of the last sensors. I did the PCV valve and checked all the hoses that are linked to blockage and build up and nothing. Suprisingly the engine is really clean.
