    Problem Changing Fluid in Transfer Case

    i changed out my fluid yesterday. i had no difficulty with the plugs. but i put some teflon tape on the threads when i put em back in.

    Oil Filter Removal Tips?

    i dont spill very much.... i remove the filter from above after i get it loose and i just empty it into the the plastic drain channel. i doo have long arms tho.....:D

    hmmm they went to 5w20 oil? i wonder if the pre 07 libs can use that? maybe a gas saving feature?? just thinkin out loud:p

    For anybody with subwoofers in their KJ:

    i dont care 4 bandpass boxes either. they are not very accurate. actually they dont NEED a crossover as their design cancells out frequencies above 150 htz or so. but they will sound better with a crossover .and they are very efficient and play loud without a ton of power. i also prefer...

    i have a pair of 12"s also if u can.... face the subs towards the roof....it helps ALOT!! facing them towards the rear gets all that crap rattlin:D

    cold weather

    last winter we had 2 record cold temps -45f and -51f thats out of the ordinary but its not un common to to hit -35f up here. i hate to think obout winter:eek: anyhoo i looked around and dont see a heater plug on my jeep. where would it b if it had a factory one? :confused: thanks

    yea...the liberty likes her gas.but she has good power and i like her!!! lol!!

    Strange noises...and idling rough?

    you could also try cleaning the MAF sensor. sometimes that will make a dramatic improvement.

    hi folks!! i have an 06 liberty limited. had it for about a month now. so far im lovin it!! looking forward to meeting sum new folks and getting to know the jeep liberty.
