    looking good. i finally got to wash my jeep after a long while this past weekend. I just dropped $150 on some new detailing supplies that were needed to stock back up on the normal use stuff like ASD, SG, and some 85.

    i suggest the use of a floor jack for that, i was able to get the hitch on myself using that method.

    a site that i have used in the past and have had no problems with for stereos is www.ikesound.com they have that same headunit listed on the crutchfield site for 12 bucks cheaper, just thought you would like to know.

    did you clean the bumper real good before you sprayed it? also make sure the paint is intended for use on plastic. Also if you are having a problem with the paint not sticking well get a can of paint adhesion promoter.

    this is only going to apply to people who bought their KJ new of course. If you are not the original owner of the KJ i doubt that DC will do that for you.

    The thing is a device that has a 9 volt battery i think, and you plug it into your power outlet, and it saves your settings.

    hmm must be something that they changed on the newer models. I have an 02 renegade and I dont have the EVIC or anything and my lights switch off after about a minute or so.

    yes we should have a detailing section, nobody seems to remember my detailing thread. You wouldnt even wanna see my jeep right now. anyway its freezing cold here so no thoughts about cleaning it.

    that isnt a problem. There is a built in delay for the headlights. if you turn off the lights after the ignition is turned off, the lights stay on for a min or so, if you have the EVIC it is changable i believe. Otherwise just turn off your lights before you shut off the jeep.

    if the clicking noise occurs all the time when you spin the wheel back and forth, then it is most likely the clockspring in the in steering wheel.

    any auto parts store should have it, even a dealer. I have also seen people use those felt washers that slide over the battery terminals and then the cable is attached on top of them.

    definatly looks like it would buff out with a rotary buffer. Or it would at least make it look better, and then you wouldn't have to use touch-up paint at all.

blow off valve + optima + clamp connection
don't love it, wish it was darker but its better than the fabric i glued on that got faded, bubbly, stained and downright ugly.
