Front bumper replacement
my dad own's a body shop. the plastic rivbets are pretty simple. You just take a pin/small screw driver and push out the centers, then you can use a diagonal cutter to get the rivet out the rest of the way. You shouldn't have to drill them. Well they must have decided finally and got the brakes on the pop-ups. I think the rule is the same in MD as it is in Pa, which is if your trailer is voer 2,995 lbs gvwr, then brakes are required. Yea I agree with that, wiring will take some time, especially to make it look nice, tidy up underneath, and to get everything in all the right places. I think the trailer has to be rated for 3000 lbs plus GVWR for brakes to be required by the manuf. Quite a few pop up trailers are rated at 2200-2800 lbs, which would make brakes only an option. I agree with you though, if your towing more then 3000 lbs regularly, its good to have brakes, they...- tgh117

wiring up the brake control box right away will only benefit if the trailer you are going to tow has brakes. Most of the pop up campers on the market do not currently come with brakes on them already. You will have to buy as an option, or even have the dealer install them. I haven't had any...- tgh117

Extended warranty?

It just depends on the hitch that you purchase. My buddy has one on his truck that is the bolt together type that is capable of 8 or 10 K lbs. Winch install opinions?
There are a few hitch companies out there that make the adjustable hitches. I.E. : They fit many different vehicles, so they completely bolt together. They are still class 3 and rated up to 10,000 lbs. I think, so maybe you could just find one of these and get a single winch reciever mount...- tgh117

Latest Gas Mileage report... almost 3K miles on my '05 now.
2 weekends ago now we were on a good length road trip, about 580 miles total, and managed to pull of 26.5 or something near there for our trip with my wifes liberty. Its a V6 4wd and had 2000 miles on it when we got home. Has been pretty good so far except for the drivers and passenger door...- tgh117

Woo Hoo
Not to brag, but I just ran 351 miles this weekend, mostly highway, going to the penn state football game, sat in a lot of traffic both ways, but still went all 351 miles on only 13.41 gallons of gas. Comes out to 26.17 mpg. Not bad for 1800 miles on the new libby.- tgh117

2005 libby has rough Idle
mine too, must be a bit stiff engine mounts or something. Engine doesnt really shake much if you open the hood and look at it, but you can feel it when your sitting in it. I figure its just a liberty thing, maybe will get better as more miles get put on it and the engine mounts soften up a bit.- tgh117

Jeep vs. deer...+1 for the deer

Employee pricing on CRD
When I went to buy a liberty 2 weeks ago, the deisel model was not included in the employee pricing. You only got a 1,000 rebate from chrysler, and after kicking it around a bit, ended up buying a gas job instead because it was a good bit cheaper and the dealer gave me 5,000 off the sticker...- tgh117

Any idea on any new rebates or cash back on new 06 after Tue
The previous rebate on the CRD was only 1,000 dollars off, so at least for a good part of 06, I wouldn't bet if you would be able to get a better rebate then that. All the employee pricing stuff wasnt applicable for the CRD models.- tgh117
