Anything you can do, I can do better... except burn rubber
You can't spin your tires because you have a 2.5" lift kit and bigger tires. You won't be able to ever spin yours unless you take the lift kit off and put some weenie small tires back on. As for the brake, I don't know anything about the limiter. Good luck spinning those tires.- tgh117

Hello I'm new here
I think there is talk that they might be discontinued in 2007 due to stricter emissions requirements, but you can get a 2006 with a CRD in it. Good luck with your KJ and welcome to the board!- tgh117

Insurance
I have erie here in pa, Got the wifes jeep, 97 jetta, 77 chevy truck, and a 37 jag kit car that is titled as a special construction. All have full coverage adn collision with 500 deduct and my payment is 153 a month. Seems to work out real well. THe liberty is the most expensive for the year...- tgh117

Towing Trailer
I could be wrong, but I do not see any need for a power steering cooler. As long as you have the trans cooler, which most do now, then you should be fine. My jeep did not come with the tow package, so I added a mopar hitch and wire harness myself. I have had about 4300 lbs on the back of it...- tgh117

that stinks. Sorry to hear about it. Over here that could be turned in to the auto insurance, but as long as its just the tail light, its probably not worth the hassle, would be easier to just purchase a new light, whether it be from the dealer, auto wrecking yard, or ebay and replace it...- tgh117

i'm lookig at an 05 crd "new"
I think that is a pretty good price for a CRD. Here in pa when I got my liberty (September 05) they wouldnt go any cheaper then $24,873 for a crd sport with the c package and a tow package. Hitch receiver scooter carrier
You should be able to handle that just fine. You can purchase an extension from various places that should get the hitch carrier out past the spare tire, and I dont think it would matter to much with the weight being slightly off center. It may affect the handling of your jeep slightly, but...- tgh117

I would be the tires have a lot to do wiht you not being able to spin them. They are bigger then stock, so that adds more weight, plus if the compound is a little softer, as much of the more off road type tires are, that will help them stick more, causing to be more difficult to spin. The reason the nutzerts are used is because in some areas you cannot get a nut on the back side of the bolt. Maybe in some areas you will be able to drill around it and get a bolt and nut in place, but those nut zerts are strong if put in properly. I wouldn't be concerned in the slightest...- tgh117

Reese Class III Hitch
www.ontheball.com sells all sorts of drawbars to help you out. I need to get a longer one myself, just havent gotten there yet, I use the 2" drop and my trailer is perfectly level and the tongue just fits between the tire and ball. Good luck, they shouldnt drop your tow capacity.- tgh117

05 JEEP LIBERTY Power UP-GRADE x/CHIP +HP / TQ, does it work
sounds to me like all this chip does is trick your jeep into thinking its cold outside so it shoves more fuel into the engine. Probably wouldn't hurt the vehicle persay, but it will lower your gas milage and junk up your spark plugs a bit sooner. Normally you would see people doing this...- tgh117

How many miles on your KJ
05, bought in september, now has 6137 miles on it. Window belts slipped twice, has to go for the third on the drivers side, trans needs something done to it, but overall, very pleased with the purchase. 75W -vs- 85W Gear Lube
It won't hurt anything, its just a tad bit thicker, which could result in a loss of maybe a 1/8th of a mile per gallon of fuel or something, but wouldn't be much at all. You will be fine with that.- tgh117

No it has nothign to do with the rear defroster, just when turing the dial on the controls to defrost, or mix defrost and feet, and then turn on the fan and it will stink up for just maybe 5 minutes or so, then it seems to go away.
