Nah I would still believe that your OK. I haven't seen my temp gage move ever when pulling a trailer. I don't normally pull less then 3000 lbs too often, so I still think your OK. If you want it as a backup like jeepster said, its going to cost a good bit of money probably to have added...- tgh117

Me myself, I wouldn't even worry about the heavy duty cooling. My 05 does not have the heavy duty cooling, and I have no problems, even in the 3000 to 4000 lb range in hilly areas. You may want to consider a brake controller, but I don't know if your trailer is equiped or not. As for the...- tgh117

Swapping Gears
Yes you will need to change both front and rear if your going to swap gear ratios. Otherwise you will be turning the front and rear at two different speeds which will bust stuff up if it even moves.- tgh117

Hitch lbs

Put some WD-40 or some oil in the rubbers where the window slides up. The noise you are hearing is the power window belt slipping on the gear. The 7 pin wiring will run about 160 bucks, and the hitch will run about 160 bucks. A decent brake controller will run about 50-80 bucks, plus installation. I would say your are looking in the neighborhood of 3-5 thousand bucks to get that job taken care of. Not to mention probably a week or two in the shop. Receiver Hitch Question
I am not sure if they sell a 2" straigh reciver, but on my non lifted liberty, I use a 3/4" drop and every different trailer I towed so far seems to be almost exactly level. If you go with that, you should be fine.- tgh117

Request: How To Clean the Throttle Body
I usually just pull the intake tube off, and then start it up and shoot some carb cleaner or some sorts in there till its cleaned out. It will bog the engine down a little bit, but I just do it gently, and everything is fine. Then shut it off and stick the tube back on. Good luck- tgh117

Power window problems
I am not sure if these have the same as the 05 model, but it could just need the motor gear and belt replaced, and not the whole regulator. I have had problems with mine twice now, so from now on I try and shoot a little WD40 in them once a month or so. Good luck- tgh117

No Transmission Dipstick on '07 Liberty???
My VW jetta doesn't have a dipstick, becuase the fluid never needs replaced for the life of the vehicle. I actually called the dealer to ask about a flush, and they suggested I didn't want to do that because it would cause the transmission to blow up. The fluid in a VW looks more like 0W-40...- tgh117

Liberty engine noise
I put 10W-30 in ours once, but when I did, I noticed it rattled a lot more when idling, and just didn't sound as quiet as the 5w-30, so I put that back in the next oil change. I will need to do it again soon, and I will probably switch out to synthetic.- tgh117

Frount windows
My 05 has visited the dealer twice because the windows click click when going up or down. Both times they replaced the motor and the belt. Evidently the belt was rubbing against the bottom of the window causing extra drag and making the belt slip on the plastic gear. They haven't started yet...- tgh117
