Everyone is PISSED!! I take the customers side....
I guess I got lucky. I read about the recall here, so I called the dealer and asked them about it. They told me to bring it right over, and within a few hours it was fixed. I actually received the notification about a week after it was repaired. -
rear windshield
Just an idea. I'd call my car insurance and see if it's covered under their glass policy. A lot of insurance companies have 0 deductible on glass.- JC

Yeah, he bought a small house. He won't say what he paid for it, but he said it was outrageously expensive for what he got. Another buddy of mine just bought one in NJ, 10 minutes from the GW. He paid over 400K, and said it was smaller than his old house here in St Louis, and that one cost...- JC

My company has offices in Midtown, so I score a free trip to NYC a few times a year. Most of the guys I work with up there live over in NJ, but one of my buddies just bought a place in Queens.- JC

In Some Cases
The looseness in the snow may be in the tires. When I had the OE Goodyears, they were loose even in light rain. Now that I switched to the BFG's, it's stable in dry, wet, snow, mud, whatever. As far as the mileage, mines not so good either. I get 18-20 on the highway driving it easy, and...- JC

Both the CB and the scanner are portables. I bought the CB when I got the Lib, because it was on sale and seemed like a Jeep thing to do. But the scanner is my trusty yet ancient racing scanner although I also used it a bit for entertainment when I lived in my old apartment. I was surprised...- JC

I actually use mine in rush hour traffic. If there's a jam, I turn it on, and listen for the truckers to tell you which lanes are open. And because I'm a weather geek, I got one with NOAA radio. I have the Midland portable unit, and still haven't figured out a decent way to mount it, so it...- JC

What's your favorite Liberty color?

JEEP LIBERTY SUBWOOFER BY MOPAR
I found one cheap on EBay, and just put it in last weekend. It sounded a bit boomy out of the box to me, but I was able to adjust it to where it sounds pretty good. Now I want to put some bassblockers on the front door speakers and maybe even upgrade them, and it should sound a lot better.- JC

BF Goodrich Tires

Extended warranties?
That's true, but even Max Care has it's loopholes. I took mine in for a bad air leak noise (along with other work). They diagnosed it as a bad windshield seal. I was rather surprised to find out that they would not cover it, as DC claims the windshield seal is a wear item.- JC
