something is defintly wrong with your threads. I just installed my reese hitch last weekend without a problem. I would defintly find a tap and clean the threads out. ohh and by the way to get at that bolt easier I dropped my exhuast so i could move it around to get to the bolt.
I know in WI you have to have caps on anysort of off road lights while driving around. but there maybe a exception to it if they came from the factory that way. I'd love to have a rennie light bar but like you fouros i dont like the idea of drilling into my roof.
the new CRD spring frakenlift would probly be your best bet it comes with 500lbs springs so its less likely to sag under the weight of the diesel and after market bumper ect. that will be what im getting next month.
I did all of broken arrow besides the steps in my stock CRD. I did use my skids alot but it wasn't a problem at all. just make sure you scout ahead to make sure you take a good line. I'm sure you could do the steps just make sure you pay attention. while you out there i suggest soldgers pass too...
damn how do you keep that thing so clean. I'd have to be in my libby with a toothbrush for hours to get it back to being that clean. of course working in dust almost allday doesnt help.
damn getting side tracked, well I desided to wait on the lift because i got a really good deal on rock lizzard rock sliders, kilby gas tank skid and front skid row engine skid and I now have a front hitch rather than tow hooks. so for now the tires will sit in the back yard. I really have to...
ya but they sold out because it now says it maybe substituted for an equivalent Hidden Hitch part #5024. I got the last one I think. heres where i bought it from

I know freejeep on L.O.S.T has one attached to his but i dunno if has used it yet. on my reese hitch it says 9000lbs line rating max. I just installed a front hitch today hopefully by the end of the year ill have a winch installed on it.

here is the ESP in action in 4low. notice the rear tire thats in the air locking up and transfering power to the otherside. we had to stack rocks for the other libertys there without it to make it up that same obsticle
well the 2006's have ESP traction control the 05 do not and the 05's have the 7year 70k mile warrenty while the 06 got the 3year 36k. I have only had to have 1 EGR replaced on my 06 and that was before ULSD. I havent had one problem since the switch to ULSD. I have put 30k miles on my 06 in less...
you mean so a saturn can do this. as far as the liberty goes drive it like a SUV and your fine. I co drive a turbo neon at the local autocross club and R counds on a FWD can cause this to happen with the right conditions.
