    I've always wondered how well after market heated mirrors worked. I really need to get some too. Let me know how well they work. Is the power plug set up for that? I think I read that all KJs have the wiring already done.

    That used to happen to me alot, now I write stuff like that down. I'll also take measurements....thanks for the tip Troy....I just wish for once you'd say " yeah sure just slap it on" :happy175:

    mine have little tabs to push down on and then I pull the plug off. The window spade connector came off once so I just re-soldered it back onto the glass

    is it just a matter of counting the number of turns to remove the old ones and putting the new ones on that same number of turns? Makes sense in my head :smokin:

    I went and bought 2 used ones at the scrap yard off a KJ with about 25k Kms. $100 each, painted them black, slapped them on and never looked back.
