Shift cable stuck.
I did check the harness and all was OK with it. My jeep sat for 2.5 maybe even 3 years. I'm not sure why but it would not shift . My thought was all the fluid drained to the pan from sitting. Shift cable stuck.
Came home dropped the front drive shaft shot wd40 up on top the gear selector shaft had a beer waited a hour came back worked it back and forth using a small adjustable wrench .Works great now thank you. I would of been reading all day . How long are I considered a new member I joined in 2016 lol .- Mrich0908

I dont know squat about mud racing. Your buddy must not have his shrouded properly then or a bad clutch. I cant speak for him. I personally have had better luck with mechanical fans . Thats not 100% true. In most cases yes a non clutched direct coupled fan will draw more power make gas mileage worse than a mechanical clutch fan. You know they make flowmasters in all shapes and sizes. I agree an old school 40 FM may not be the best choice. Why not get something quiter but less restrictive like a super 50. I know some were 3 prong , plug some were 2. Mines 3 . Relay location but that shouldn't effect the fan. Besides that I wasnt aware of any differences. Is there anything im missing?- Mrich0908

I though this may help those who do hefty towing with there jeeps. So I own a full sized forged 383 sbc yukon with gt45 turbo. As you would expect it throws some serious heat off. What I need to swap engine from 2003 Liberty 4wd into 2wd Liberty
Should be a direct swap . Most 2wd vs 4wd vehicles have different oil pans . Thats usually the only difference with every manufacturer.- Mrich0908

To the runners that are cast into the heads. Thats what I did. Thats a wild design . I didnt want to pull the plastic intake because I was expecting a upper and lower intake. Like an old school v8 style . That was the easiest intake ive ever pulled.- Mrich0908

Liberty engines years that are able to be swapped
Ya sounds like it . I didnt realize jeep engineers changed the wiring harness , transmission and sensors. Thanks for the list . I wasnt sure if the motors had a notorious problem that would be easier to swap now then later. Thats why I asked. You guys have been awesome and very helpful thank you.- Mrich0908
