What did you do to your jeep today?
Two days of driving in snow, mud drifts and through flood areas. The weather has made life difficult for many and even I ended up in the hospital for a few hours (my own stoopid mistake made breathing difficult), so my neighbor got to drive my KJ too. What did you do to your jeep today?
You do know that photo is of the backside of the rim, don't you? I purposely kept it a mystery. The rims are about $115.00 each. The TPS' are about 29 each (jeeze!). The tire I ordered is just under 200 bucks and the shop charges 21.50 to mount & balance each one. So, if everything turns out...- Jim McClain

Okay, I think I see what you mean by "tags." Here's a photo of the rear spring with a white tag wrapped around a coil. You should be able to see 48 when you view the photo full-size. When I looked at the springs, I only saw heavy, coiled wire. Nothing hanging off them or sticking to them that I noticed. What is this tag made of? How is it attached? Does anyone have a picture of a coil spring with a tag?- Jim McClain

Can you elaborate on that? I had the bushings in the LCAs replaced and there was a lot of difficulty taking out the old ones, especially the strut fork one. The mechanic said he had to cut that one out. All the bushings were replaced with Moog.- Jim McClain

What did you do to your jeep today?
Tested my new lift on an abandoned logging road today. Bumpy, muddy, icy and fun as hell. Followed that road to a dead end, almost got stuck and almost ran out of gas. Gotta remember to check that gauge before taking off like that. :gr_grin:- Jim McClain
