my driver side rear just siezed up last month. i could not get the piston to go back into the bore for anything! i replaced it with a remaned cardone caliper for 51 dollars! easy to fix!
dude that sucks! makes me appreciate what i got. labor disputes always suck! can you grieve it and get it in front of an arbitrator? that might be your only saving grace!

i bought a 99 cherokee that was an enterprise rental. it now has 76,000 miles and only thing replace is front wheel bearing (not rental related). i would do it again! but make sure you test drive for an hour or two! mike

the 3.7L is a 90 degree v-6 and the 4.0L is a 60 degree v-6. i think the 90 degree configurations produce more low end torque which is the reason they are in trucks and suv's. the 4.0l is only found in very few nitros (i believe only the r/t models). the majority of nitros have the 3.7L
one reason!: they have cheaper engineering and production costs. timing belts do not need an oiling system or a sealed timing cover! why do you think hyundias are so cheap? because they are still running majority of motors on timing belts!

what year kj also? because in 05 they changed some of their gas line and filter routes.
