Alittle odd?

Crossbars on a renegade
Just in case any one else runs into this. The bar that I highlighted actually unscrews and becomes a cross bar for attaching ski racks etc. It goes the other way to make it a capable basket rack.- ride4lamar

Crossbars on a renegade
They are definitely metal. I could drill into them but I didnt know if Thule / Yakima / or Jeep made the feet that attached on top of or in them, or if they could hold weight.- ride4lamar

I have the renegade roof rack/basket on my KJ seen here (http://www.autotrucktoys.com/liberty/Mopar-OEM-Jeep-Liberty-Renegade-Roof-Rack-Basket-Carrier-02-07-P6959C513.aspx) On mine it looks like there some track rails inside of it that could house cross bars.
