    I just wanted to make sure. On some cars the calipers need to be twisted/rotated while compressing, since they are on a threaded shaft internally. So it's like a big screw. If you just compress them, the threads get stripped and the caliper doesnt work.

    Any tips or advice for replacing brake pads on a 2005 Liberty Sport 4x4? Anything special? Standard c-clamp to squeeze the calipers is OK? Piston doesnt need to be spun to compress? Any special tools needed to R/R the calipers? Thanks in advance.

    A 2004 Jeep Liberty came with a 7 yr 70K mile warranty? Was that an EXTENDED warranty? Our 2005 Liberty had only a 3 yr/39K mile warranty. At least that was what I was told.

    Pep Boys, yes. The booklet near the wipers does not show a rear wiper for Jeep Liberty. The computer at Pep Boys shows that the part is not available. Not sure where there is an Advance Auto around these parts.
