    You've gotten good advice here but to answer what I thought might be your biggest concern, you could have 10 professionals reply here and all 10 would most likely have a different price. IOW, there is no set price to paint a tail gate door.

    I wondered about that but couldn't say it wouldn't work because I've never known anyone to mount a Wilson Trucker low. Anyway, I bet your friend is right. Why don't you try mounting it higher such as the way I, (and other's) have. Otherwise, you might be better off changing antenna's?

    You also asked for comparable = Black Rock Wheels They have American made steel & alloy rims - most to fit a KJ. (15", 16", 17") Their black rims are matte black (not glossy like the Cragars) and include the best looking (black) wheel caps made. Cragar's (ie; soft 8's) don't include center caps.
