HOW TO: Get Your Change in One Place (not the cup holder)

This is a great topic...I am always fishing change out of the rubber cup holders and cursing Jeep for not putting a change holder in the Liberty.

What did you sell or trade to get your KJ?

I traded in a nicely equiped 2004 Mazda B4000! Auburn ECTED Diff 265 75 16 MTR's Westin Bull Bar Set of PIAA's on the bar FACTORY Raised suspension It was a great rig, the 4.0 had good power. For those who don't know, the B4000 is the Mazda branded Ranger. Its only problems...

    KJs at work

Wackenhut is pronounced just as you can imagine. They are one of the worlds largest private security firms. They range from you average mall cop lock rattlers to themost hugh speed nuclear security types. They are an interesting company, and do some really cool high speed security work, and...

Do you keep a MAGlite in your KJ?

I am a touch on the paranoid side, so I keep a small streamlight Defender in the console, and a box of lithium batteries (it is brighter than a 4 cell mag-light, and fits in your pocket). I also have one of the self powered LED lights that you shake to make it work, and a 5,000,000 CP spot that...

    Tire Size/Type ?

It is really hard to say anything bad about the BFG's because they are great tires. The General's are really good tires too, and like was previously mentioned have a much better mileage warantee, and are much cheaper... Now throw in the fact that buy getting all ten for less money you are...

    Grabber AT2 usage survey.

The warantee is 60,000 miles...and I have not seen any written proof that the BFG's have any warantee at all. I love the General's

    Tire Size/Type ?

If by stand up you mean they don't loose their tread as quickly, then you are right...General's last quite a bit longer. If you actually do the research, you will find that every review of the General AT2's is overwhelmingly possitive, with the exception of deep mud performance, which is no...

    Tire Size/Type ?

Most of the local tire shops said they could order them. I went to the one closest to my house, and they had them on the lot within 16 hours of my request. If they can order General's, then they should be able to order the Grabber AT2's. You can always get them at www.tirerack.com

    Tire Size/Type ?

a bunch of us are really happy with the General Grabber AT2's. They have the same tread pattern as the BFG AT's, but come with a 60,000 mile warantee, where the BFG's have no warantee, and the General Grabbers are half the price. I would go BFG over the revo, but that is just my opinion...

    Sirius or XM?

yup, I travel a lot on sunday's for monday morning meetings. I listen to the NFL quite a bit, and since I am out of my teams market area, many games aren't televised in my area, so listening to them on Sirius is my only option!

    Diff & Command Trac.

The 2006 uses a four wheel break induced limited slip that is really not that bad. I can peel out in gravel with two wheels using it, and it does great in the sand. It is no real limited slip, but it works all right.

    lift Q's----upgrade time

sorry for the venture off topic. to the OP: What you need is based on what you do. If mud is your poison, then get a frankenlift, big mud tires, and the Powertrax No-slip lunch-box locker. The same set up would do great for rocks. If you are planning on more time on the road, and...

    lift Q's----upgrade time

Easy on the soccer mom, and wal-mart crap...for the record, I grew up in the middle of nowhere, and we don't even have a wal-mart within a few hours...As for the soccer mom...she drives the Toyota Sequoia, and it is very cute, very black, and very pimped out soccer mom style. With our third...

    lift Q's----upgrade time

You are pretty much dead on, but there are factors that make a locker and mud tires not desireable or necessary for most people, and some who like to go off-road. 1. Most of us spend MOST of our time on the pavement, making and AT a much better choice most of the time 2. Not all...
