    The mild Daystar lift and some skid plates (if you don't have them) would be good for mild wheeling. With the mild lift, stock tires won't look bad and the skid plates will protect vital Jeep organs.

    I'm one of those May JK buyers.:) 4 door Wranglers are extremely popular. The Patriot has been doing well too. Very comparable in size and looks to the XJ, good gas mileage, the price is nice. There is an enthusiastic bunch of Patriot owners over at www.jeeppatriot.com.

    If you want more cargo space and all the advantages of a Wrangler go with the JK. If you've been satisfied with the KJ and want to take advantage of the incentives, go with the KJ. Do the incentives apply to the 2008 KKs or just KJs?

    I had a '72 Dodge with 318 cu. in. V8 that I had up to 120mph on more than a few occasions. You could watch the gas gauge plummet. That was my young and dumb days.
