What did you do to your jeep today?

Yesterday I rented a spring compressor and got to work putting in new iso's. For about 15 minutes before figuring out that an internal compressor wasn't going to work. Brought it back to Autobone and rented and external from Napa. Put 2 iso's on the driver side and one on the passenger side...

    3.7L Performance

I picked up a 6 pack of Duralast IC's for $98 at Autobone. Lifetime warranty. Even got $20 back from a promotion they happened to be running at the time. That $20 got me the 28mm open end wrench that fits my 4Link rods.

    Rock's Roller

I was going to go with the TM Econo lift, but Tom's review at JBA for the JBA lifts convinced me to go with their coilover, UCA's, springs and shocks. Notice the pucks? I'm a *bit* of an Avalanche fan Now, I'm a computer guy who also plays guitar and have been in bands since I was 14...

    Rock's Roller

OK. Been long enough I think - time to get some pics of mine out there along with a bit of the story. When the POS I had been driving started showing a bunch of problems, I decided it was time for a new ride. Went to the bank, opened a HELOC and got onto shopping. At first, I was thinking...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Changed the rear diff oil yesterday. Didn't like how the pumpkin was sitting with the 4 link, so cut the bars down today and pulled the pumpkin down. Hoping the clunking I'm hearing will be resolved with the new rear LCA's I ordered from Rock Auto - along with a tranny dipstick. I've been...

JBA Stock UCA vs Lifted UCA

Mine was just a really thick spacer. Gives you some height options if you need to in order to adjust the angle. Just use a smaller washer to drop it lower.

Installing jba bolt on tri-angulated 4 link

Just get it back on the ground to put the arms on might help given what you wrote. Probably be less fighting to get to the correct length for the pinion too. After the isolators go in, my height going into it will be different.

    Installing JBA UCAs this weekend!

Re-torque at 500 miles and again at 4K. Or just keep adding stuff on and keep resetting the mileage count :happy175:

Installing jba bolt on tri-angulated 4 link

Thanks! Tried to thank you in the PM, but it says you're out of storage space :happy175: Also - what I got from Marlin (and I'm gathering that these may just be starting points given what you have listed): 2.5" lift - 18.5" eye to eye 4" lift - 19.25" eye to eye Now you have me...

    Installing JBA UCAs this weekend!

Same here. Must be an 07 thing - it was really easy to get to from underneath - even had a clear view of it.

What did you do to your jeep today?

It does look "Force'd" doesn't it? Like someone Maul'ed it :happy175:

JBA Stock UCA vs Lifted UCA

That looks like a 3.5" lift, given the distance on the coilover

What did you do to your jeep today?

Oh yeah - my 4 Link and isolators arrived today. I guess I get to play with the angle grinder. My longer brake lines are in too, as 4 Wheel Parts informed me as I was typing this up! I got my kiddos this weekend, so unfortunately, everything's put on hold until next weekend. Supposed to be...

What did you do to your jeep today?

I put in a Kenwood system with a 13 band EQ that also has 3 Q settings. My stereo is really clean right now. Kept the factory 6.5". Took some wrangling to clean up 80-400 hz, but she's dialed in. My Bluetooth gets flakey sometimes. Once I had a car next to me trying to cut in with theirs...
