HOAT will generally be orange or yellow. BUT the OAT (Dexcool) can also be orange...and mixing the two is not good because that significantly reduces coolant service life. Personally, if there were any doubt I would do a complete flush and install the HOAT as recommended by DC.
I put on Moog struts & rear springs and I'm currently sitting at just under 20 inches. It's my wife's daily commuter and she's pretty much fine with the ride and handling. Her only problem is that the ride height is almost TOO tall.
Changed out the rear differential to RP 75w140. Also gave the cover a nice shiny new coat of paint. All the fluids are now changed out and new since I got her last winter ('cept the antifreeze). Now all I gotta do is figure out that damn pre-flight TPMS problem... :favorites68:
Sorta happened to me...previous owner forgot to install BOTH washers when they assembled the strut. The shock shaft pushed through the rubber and it rattled like baseball cards in bike spokes.
