    Have you seen the Powertrax lockers, from what I read they work great for mud or crawling. I believe you do not have to regear it

    They cut the shift cable. This was the first one I seen when I started my search.

    it really is a head scratcher as to why they cut the cable off the gear selector for the 4x4. Those are gold.

    Oh i wish it is was that easy. The cable itself broke. The metal was frayed.

    The biggest issue is they cut that cable off of the four-wheel drive shifter when they sell the shifter at a junkyard.

    I have exhausted my searches I've called over 50 different places around the US and it's just bizarre to me the this cable is a unicorn. It's for a 2002 -2004 you would think they would be everywhere.

    I've called a dozen salvage yards today and they told me when they take the 4x4 shifter out they just cut the cable off, I told one of them you need to start keeping them because of the price I was quoted at Mopar. I have a couple of u pull it places to check out.

    For sure. I guess I should have said they have one in the Mopar deep back room for $600. I can't believe they charge that much for a part that's probably been sitting there for years.

    I have a 2002 KJ V6 3.7 automatic and my transfer case shift cable broke. I cannot find one anywhere. If someone knows where I can get the whole assembly with cable if needed that would be great. Im ready to get back on the trails. Or does anyone know if another model or year cables assembly...

    Need help to turn my 2002 KJ into a fun Jeep.

    I have a stock blue 2002 Kj and I want to upgrade the suspension to give it a lift, you know shocks and coils and some upgraded suspension parts. I want to convert mine into the red one without doing a bunch of fabrication and modifying, I dont mind a little but I can't hardly find anything...
