    Rusty's bad customer service?

Also Rusty's has had a laps in customer service reported before, you get what you pay for, even in the S & R department. Sometimes low price means less people to help get it ordered, on the shelf, and out the door.

    Engine Oil Quantity Question

No matter how much oil they put in the engine if it's on the full mark all is good and you will have no engine damage. You can buy a band wrench or an filter socket for your rachet set inexpensively that will assist in your oil filter removals. The next one will also be tight as the lube oil...

Recall on 2005-06 CRD for transmission problems?

Don't lay on the loud pedal so hard and the throttle delay won't kick in that helps keep the smoke down. Than the turbo and everything spools up smoothly and your take off is smooth and just as fast, as your started rolling a second or two faster from the corner or light.

    235-85-16 will it fit

Been done before with trimming and pinch weld flattened. If you wheel at full flex a lot you'll need to take out more plastic and your foglamps may have to go.

what tires will fit on prelowered?

Max, 245/70X16. You flex/wheel the rig, turn the wheels tight, etc. Doesn't change that fact spring wise.

    Build Sheet info

A build sheet and the original window sticker was put in my glove compartment when I bought the rig. The build sheet was in the canvas owner's manual pouch. Maybe my dealer does this as an extra service.

will 17" rims fit my ride?

KJ Limiteds have 17 inch wheels also. 5 X 4.5 inch is the bolt pattern you need. Stock backspacing is 5.5 inches. You need at least 4.5 inches of backspacing to stay under the flares and decrease your chances of major rubbing inside the wheelwells if your going 8 inches wide.

    liberty crd - More Power?

If your going to out run the Hondas, your going to have to figure how to remove about a ton of weight. Starting with a heavy rig isn't the best starting point.

    Very Simple Question

4 lo is the only position that requires I put the tranny in neutral to shift to. Fulltime 4 and two wheel drive can be used in any conditions you like, 4 hi ot part time and 4 lo should only be used during low traction conditions when your tires are slipping due to a lack of traction.

    liberty crd - More Power?

I agree, why would you want to do that? Mine already goes everywhere I point it, up to and exceeding it's design ratings. Than there is the warranty, they are REAL picky about this engine in that department. It already puts out more torque per liter displacement than the big 3 trucks, do a...

    moog lbj instead of original

Like RAYMAN said, the new LBJ aren't going to fall out anytime soon. When they do go put in the MOOGs. I have the greasable MOOG uppers on Al's upper arms, he is going to make a non lift upper in the near future.

    06 CRD?

If you have any towing in your future get the CRD. Mine has pulled my 16 ft and my fathers 19 ft jet sleds all of the Pacific Northwest. Also pulled a loaded two horse trailer out of the woods in the snow. Pulled a Chevy duallie pulling a tar roofing trailer up a long, steep hill to the closest...

    moog lbj instead of original

There's a paper in the MOOG site that explains the problem with the Jeep design. Has nothing to do with seals, it's an inherit problem with the LBJ taper and how it fits in the Jeep. It leaves a nice moat around the ball joint that allows dirt and water to be picked up as the ball joint moves.
