Jeep Virgin!
Not 100% sure, but those could be regional area dealer advertising fees. They show up as all kinds of weird-looking line items. By all means ask your dealer on that one. I've heard that around the DC area, however, dealerships have this non-negotiable ad fee that they have no control over...- Flaren

I feel your pain on the TJ thing, I kept trying to close the gate and the glass like I was closing a TJ the first few days I had her...lol. My BF has a TJ and he gets it wrong every time he uses it...lol.- Flaren

I LOVE being a Jeep chick! As a matter of fact, I just finished washing and waxing the new baby. She looks purty! I'll have to take some pics tomorrow, we're supposed to have nice weather here. Window Sticker
That should be a red flag right there.....dealers are no longer allowed to remove window stickers, EVEN IF YOU TELL THEM ITS OK, they still can't touch them. I'd take it up with your dealer if this was the case and maybe even call Chrysler direct to check on the situation.- Flaren

Custom or parted lift on an 05 KJ.
I believe people refer to the mish-mosh of parts thing as a "Franken-lift", at least I've heard of that kind of thing referenced as that. I don't know exactly what parts constitue one, but someone else on here may know of the parts.- Flaren

Yeah, I though she wouldn't really need 1st either, so I tried starting in 2nd a few times, but it didn't work out so well. I guess she needs that little bit of oomph from 1st to get rolling. I've been treating her pretty well so far. I just decided to see what she could do on the way home from the BF's house tonight (about a 55-mile 45-50 minute 97% highway drive). The KJ's pretty jumpy with the 6-speed. 1st gear is soooooo loooooowww and so unbelievably torque-y. You pretty much tear through 1st and 2nd almost instantly once you start rolling. 3rd is by far my favorite....lol. Pulls really smooth and quick and a lot stronger than I was expecting! I filled Libby up for the first time on Tuesday......yipe! The first thing I learned, do not look directly at the numbers on the gas pump, just put your card in, select your grade, start filling, then look away, and don't look back. Remote Entry Key failure
Hmmm.....if all else fails, I'd go with use the key in the drivers door, pop your hood and yank your battery cables. Might be a bit extreme, but I've had to do it before on another car. Sometimes, if you can get into the car, it'll shut off if you put the key into the ignition and start the car...- Flaren
