First of all I would like to welcome both of you on board.
budson : have a look at the connector under your driver's seat and tell me how many wires run from the harness to the connector. Is it 2 or 4? 2 means you need to run wires 4 you are ok to go
Lab123 : I'll have a look this...
Did that 2 days ago Tony, but have n't had a reply yet.
Could someone please do me a favor and do some measuring so that I can cut the hole in the exact position?
If your rig is not already equipped with Evic be sure to get the bracket and the wiring, get as much of it as you can. If you can take the whole thing out even better.
It wouldn't hurt if you could be present and see the process yourself.
This way you can have a rough picture of that goes...
kopkrab.gif It does say that both indicator lights will be on.
But it doesn't seem right. Why would the high beam indicator light be on since the high beams are off? kopkrab.gif
So I finally hooked up the Light bar switch on. (have the last parts of the lightbar on the way) My jeep came prewired as other exports did. :D
I switched it on... and noticed this..
Is it normal for both the lightbar indicator light and the high beam light to be on at the same time...
Interested in the '04 unit. How much are you asking for it?
Do you have a part number?
I have a spare '03 evic with sunroof controls I can take a pic of the switch if you are interested.
Hey Zerodsm !!! is the 04 EVIC 100% compatible with your '05? (Displaying Temp / gates) I also have a '05...
Calling all those who have installed a Renegede Light bar kit.
The kit comes with 4 different bezel trims to choose from.
I'm looking for the khaki one.
(Should be the one on the right with the switch on) . :D
OOPSSS!!!!
Never thought about that... I was just about to install my bar with those rubber nutzerts instead of the metal ones. only because I don't have a nuzert gun.
All the way round the plastic ( The cables run inside protective tubbing)(the ones at the bottom are for the reverse parking aid)
Throught the tail gate
Inner side of the tail gate
(same pic as above zoomed out)
from the gate to the body of the jeep throught the rubber tube.
So YES...
I remember reading a HOW TO of a guy who removed the tire carrier and replaced it with a custom licence plate mount. Have been looking around for more than 40 min and can't seem to find it anywhere. I KNOW it must be somewhere in my data base...
