    Damn wanna-be thief!

Yeah, well I've been debating even keeping it when I finally do get it back. It was immaculate when I had it...if it comes back with any scratches on it, it's gone. I'll also be tearing it down for a good inspection, it had about 20 rounds through it previously, it was pretty much new.

    Damn wanna-be thief!

I had a Springfield Armory XD-40 but that was stolen with my Jeep. It was later recovered, but the country crime lab has it now for testing, probably won't see it again for another year or more. I replaced it with a small Colt until I get it back.

    How can you tell??

Well if the website shows no outstanding recalls then it was done, that's it. They will definately not do it for you again when there's nothing outstanding.

    FRONT HEADLIGHT GUARDS

I wouldn't mind having a set like are available for Subarus, the guards for the foglights, I think it would nice for us '02-'04 people who have low mounted fogs.

    Stickers again...

Never been a fan of stickers most of the time. I've done a couple cars with decals that were related to the car but they were small and tasteful. My Jeep has no stickers other than the ones Jeep put there, and it's most likely going to stay that way.

    Tires

Personally I'm going to the 245 to get the Wrangler Silent Armor...I thing they're going to be one of the best overall tires we're going to get with the 17". While some of the other tires compare well in some of the categories, they seem to be superior off road to the others, and pretty much...

    Chrome Gas Doors

I thought it was too, and I would've noticed in his ebay auction pics if it was LFS, but didn't.

    Locking lugs, only on spare?

Heh, the people who stole my Jeep had the key to the locking lugs, and didn't steal it. *shrug* But like my post said originally, I pretty much had to buy the whole set no knowing the code for the key, so it wasn't like I had all that much of a choice.

    Locking lugs, only on spare?

I just got back from the dealer, and was a little confused with what I found out. Some of you may remember that my Jeep was stolen back in November. All is good and repaired, but I recently replaced the owners manual that was lost, etc... The last thing I needed to replace was the key for...

    Chrome Gas Doors

I think they look nice but I would only put one on mine that was graphite metallic, it just would stand out too much if it was the only billet or chrome piece on the Jeep. I had something similar on my old Explorer (was actually a billet piece that double sided taped to the existing door) and...

    Doughnuts

I prefer RWD as well, had FWD for a long time, and when I will say I would prefer a FWD in the snow any day over a RWD or 2WD vehicle. I used to throw winter treads on my FWD and go anywhere, the only limiting factor it seemed to have was ground clearance. But these days it's 4WD for me, and...

My new tires rub when turning

Try taking it offroad and flex the suspension a little before you get any more brave and write off limitations. I'd be willing to say you may see more rubbing at that point.

My new tires rub when turning

Yeah I put that size into a tire calculator and got 30.5 also. Look at this chart. The eqivalent largest size without rubbing for you would've been 245/65/17 which is the size I'm upgrading to when I need tires. The size you used is eqivalent to the 245/75/16 on that chart, which is...

    Electric supercharger

Stay away from that stuff...most of the time what they consist of is a blower motor used in marine ventilation systems for boats. While they do sometimes off a small horsepower gain in the low end rpm range, they become more of a restriction in the high rpm range because the fan cannot keep...

Tried Out 4-LO Today ----- Ugly Sounds !

It only says to put it in neutral for an autotmatic, and just to depress the clutch for the manual trans. Once you were in 4LO, everything sounded fine?
