That is one of the most common causes of the that code being thrown. When a customer would bring there car in and I would see that code the first thing I would do is check the gas cap. 99% of the time sure enough it was loose.
I called my brother but he didnt answer. My first guess from that code would be the gas cap loose. Did you fill up recently?
Posted too soon. My brother just called me back and said more than likely it was the gas cap that was left loose. Now if you check it and lighten it the light may not...
Actaully all Chrylser vehicles have codes, not just the Jeep. I am not sure if any other manufacturer does it. It makes it easier for techs to call into STARS the chrysler call center with questions and as far as shop service manuals etc. Instead of having a seperate maual for a Chrysler...
Yeah you shouldnt have to bleed the breaks at all unless you open part of the hydraulic part of your system. Just doing pads or shoes does not require bleeding. My best advise on rears is too do one side at a time like i said before. My instructor told me that a long time ago and it is...
I have mine uncovered. I have the same rime as you. If I had the steel rim I think I would cover it. It is all personal preference. Did you get a cover with it?
I am sure they were. A brake job to a mechanic that is working on flat rate is gold. It will take him if he is good about 20-30 minutes to do but gets paid average per vehicle in any manual 1.1 hours so if a brake lining is even questionable he is going to try and sell the job.
Even if you have the factory 3/36 warranty normal wear items i.e. brake pads and shoes, and wiper blades are only 12mos/12,000 miles. Even if it would be covered under warranty at no charge to yourself and there is more than 75% left the dealer would be screwing Chrysler because if you dont pay...
You shouldnt have to bleed any brake lines if you only change the shoes or pads of the are rear disc. The only time you should have to take a brake line off if you do something with the wheel cylinder back there but if you are just replacing the pads no lines are disconnected.
Probably a little late but a little hint on doing rear brakes is to do one side at a time that way if you need to look you have a reference on the other side. Actual thing is a hundred times better than a picture in a manual.
Talked my mom into getting a Jeep when she was trading in her convertible. At first she was kind of against it but not a day goea by that she hasnt thanked me, she absolutlely loves it. The day i bought my KJ on the lot was a used '01 Cherokee that I told him about. He fell in love and bought...

I have the Husky Mats all around. Love them. They all have a lip around them that hug the trans hump about 3 inches. I will take pics tomorrow if you would like. Other wise I got mine from Cabelas and they have some good pics on there....not of the KJ but from other vehicles. They are...
I have found that I have to use the scroll bar to go over on the posts that have wide pictures in them. I believe when there is a pic that is wider it adjusts the entire post so if someone types something kind of long you will have to slide it over to read it. Not really sure if there is a fix...
Is this what you were talking about?

Also I did this to mine but I didnt order it from ebay, I found the same thing at AutoZone for $.99 and used two of my lugnuts from when I put on my locking lug...
