Here are the Junk Yard seats I found for the KJ:
I tore into Jeepy today (that is the name that has been bestowed upon the wife's jeep) and to my dismay I did not find hidden plugs for the power. So now I need to tap into existing wires. I can already tell the wire colors are different...
Went to visit my mom today, and decided to swing by a upullit place on the way home. I found a really nice set of liberty seats from a limited. They are power, heated leather seats and I bought the fronts and the rear bench.
My concern is this: the donner vehicle was a 2003b while mine is a...
02-04 drivers side tail light [SOLD]
Technically it fits 05-07 too, but it has the amber lens for the turn signal rather than the clear lens found on the 05-07. Hence why I'm selling it. I didn't know so my error is your gain. $20 + shipping (we can talk about shipping methods).
This here is a can of worms - I know...
I am specifically talking about THIS compression testing kit.
I bought the kit because it had all the screw in connections, rather than those rubber hold-and-hope jobs that the other kit has. I am testing the compression on my XJ by myself so I...
So I did this yesterday:
and I got a response!
My KJ is not even close (133k) but my XJ just crossed this milestone. Apparently they will issue these at 100, 200, 300 and 400k miles. I haven't seen one of these on a Jeep before but I'm looking forward to putting it on mine!
If you want...
Anyone in Northern Colorado planning on attending the Jeep Jaunt? Heard about it on the radio and the details are here (wrangler) . Looks like a good chance to see other Jeep owners in the area, but definitely not a trail run.

Thank you all... I appreciate the remarks. I'm glad I became a member here, because the EVIC install thread helped me immensely and I hope that I can contribute positively back to the community as well. NAXJA has helped me a lot with my XJ and I have contributed a couple of write-ups there on...
here are the rims that I got from the 2004 Canadian Liberty with the TPM sensors installed.
this is the RB1 Navigation radio installed with the chrome dash bezel replaced as well
and here is the EVIC installed. Following the directions in the 40 page thread I was able to install this in...
On eBay, I ordered the RB1 radio for the KJ. I had done extensive research on this unit because I was interested in retrofitting it into my XJ. I found someone who had a unit for sale and I talked him down to $110 (shipping included). I got the radio in the mail yesterday, installed the unit and...
So I have become slightly frustrated with this Liberty - but I really shouldn't be, because I ran into this issue with my XJ... compatibility between years of KJ, specifically crossing the 04/05 barrier.
I bought two things recently at the JY: Drivers Side Tail Light and Chrome Cruise Control...
So I do have a 2005... but the EVIC and TPMS sensors are from an 04. Electrically compatible - but the TPMS isn't self calibrating :icon_mad: I searched in four junk yards and looked online at four other salvage yards to find an 05-07 that I could get an EVIC from and there just wasn't any. I...
Sam's Club - at least mine - won't touch the tires if you didn't buy the tires from them. Walmart will however, along with Discount Tire.
My problem is that I need to swap tires on rims - have 8 tires and 8 rims and need to swap the tires on the rims. Its not gonna be cheap to do all 8.
I...
sort of?... so, the tires on the JY rims are kinda crap. So I need to have the tires on the steel rims removed and mounted on the nicer alloy rims that have the TPMS. Good news is that the sensors started sending info to the EVIC on the way home. Bad news is that someone had already taken the...
I'm assuming you mean switch off / car off as well correct? If there is truly current bleed thru on the circuit that causes the off lights to actually be very dimly on, then hopefully it wouldn't do it while the car is off as well - otherwise that would drain the battery eventually when the car...
Any chance of getting the pictures working? I would like to try this - my ebrake is at the top limit and I think this might work to fix it. I'll try it regardless but pictures are always helpful. Thanks!
OK - sounds good. Better to have it and not need it than need it and overheat in the middle of nowhere right? I'll add that to my list - and start keeping an eye out for JY finds.
on a side note - I just assumed that this liberty had towing capabilities - but after reading some educating...
