Installed new front speakers, got rid of the stupid amps. Gonna work on replacing the dash speakers this weekend. Ordered new tires....BFG All-Terrain...looking fwd to them!!- Mojo_kj

Now you should be left with 2 wires in the amp connector - These are the 12v+ and the Ground wire to power the amp - that I removed. Here is what I did, some may want to keep the amps, but I thought Id show a nice easy way to upgrade the whole system. I installed a pioneer HU with bluetooth and all that for only $150 or so from amazon.com, then I picked up a set of front component speakers from Futureshop - Kenwood...- Mojo_kj

ok....forgive my ignorance, as Im new to this particular Jeep set-up. in any other vehicle that I have owned, without stupid amps on the speakers, i installed a new HU, and those wires went straight to the speakers, no prob. Hello everyone!! Im new to this thread. My 95 XJ finally died, and i picked up a 2003 KJ. I have a set of BFG all terrain 235/75/15 tires on the XJ that are virtually new, so I dont wanna junk em with the vehicle. I was wondering if I would be able to fit them on the KJ? I know it comes...- Mojo_kj
