The old ones were clear, the new ones are smoked inside the housing with a crystal clear cover over the inner portion and a traditional fluted clear over the outer portion.- SRotblat

Actually it was more for pricing research. But then again to answer your other questions as I am not buying untested combos I have no worries about fitments. I'm on OE wheels so no worries about backspacing. Local shops tend to be more $$, if you know something is going to work the lower...- SRotblat

Rear Diff - Draining Plug?
I was thinking about this this weekend....it would not be that hard to buy a new OE rear diff cover and weld on a bung for a drain plug. This (depending on price for new cover) could be a much cheaper option than the Rock Lizard rear cover assuming you do not need the added protection.- SRotblat

Hitch lbs
I recall the 6th being a huge pain in the rear on mine I had to single handed push the exhaust a bit to the side...does not more much...and couldn't use my socket set. was a while ago but I think I ended up using a wrench with a breaker bar.- SRotblat
