How was the diamond plate on the doors to do? I'm starting to get bad rot on my Passenger side front and will have to do something about it this summer
I think i have this issue just starting today, no codes, intermittent issue when starting the engine hot, it hiccups and seems to want to start but fails, can you link a part number of what you ended up swapping?
Front driveshaft doesnt need to be balanced as far as I know

For folks who come across this with the same symptoms

if I were you I would put an order in for a new caliper straight away, the piston will not have survived overheating that bad and piston seizing is probably what caused it in the first place.
without that im pretty sure impacts to the drive train will go into the crankshaft and flywheel rather than being distributed to the engine and transmission mounts, not sure how long you can drive it like that but if you offroaded like that you would probably do permanent damage
that stuff unplugged is supposed to plug into a module that detects the codes on your key, the engine thinks it's being hot-wired so anti theft is cutting it off
