2003 3.7L Liberty n00b.
Get some red and some blue paint... repaint the blue part red, and the red part blue on the heat control so it works right... I have no idea what's going on with that, hopefully someone here does. i'm guessing that it's something simple, something connected wrong- boebr1

I did have to replace one uca, it's ball joint was worn, and I will need to replace the other one. I believe these were already being worn down before the lift, as I also had to replace both of my hub/bearing assemblies too... I'm not the original owner. I do not have any bad contact with...- boebr1

i thought some had problems with those tires on their tailgates and that was why someone built a spacer. oh well. Towed the Caddy home, didn't feel underpowered even going uphill on highway. going to be picking up a boat trailer roller for making bumpstops, its solid rubber, with a hole through it, and about 9" long and only $6.50. i'll be making bump stops in what ever height I need just to keep rubbing from happening, and have a bunch left over for other projects. Lifetime warranty on windshield with free rock chips. He said it was a manufacturer's defect. new glass is so nice... 235/85R16 fits
Finally got something with tread on the jeep today... 3 different brands, but all decent tread. 235/85 16's... lots narrower, and same height or slightly taller than 265/75 16's Fits on the tailgate just fine, window clears it with no spacer. There was about 1/2" between tread (70%) and...- boebr1

02 liberty seat has a gangster lean
probably not an easy fix. if it's not locking in a few positions, it could be either the gear like teeth on one part are broken, bent or worn, or it could be the pawl on the other part is worn out, either way, you are probably looking at replacing the seat, but maybe it's something simple...- boebr1

Heater not working properly
girlfriends car did the same thing at idle, until I replaced a $5 large fuse in the engine bar that was for cooling fan, then it blew heat at idle. I know it also has a leak because have to keep adding coolant. on this 300M it was a fuse- boebr1

oh yeah... that awful thing made switching out the RHS UCA a real PIA... should have thought to mention looking at that... but the human mind is supposed to try to block out bad memories, so i forgot all about it- boebr1

Horn(s) not working
did you look at the connection for a horn right in front of the driver's front tire? there is a fuse also i do believe, but if the relay is working, it's probably good- boebr1

Do I have ABS?
a dead give away would be to look on the front hubs (near the brake caliper) to see if you have two wires coming from it. those are part of the abs and esp systems- boebr1

Had my windshield replaced last monday while i was out of town, to make it legal for my son to take his driver's test in... got home last night, picked up the jeep today (friday) and drove it for about 2 hours today... no rock chips, no sound... glass started cracking right in front of me...- boebr1
