    JBA LIFTS

Message Marlin and see, they’ll get you sorted out. I had a bunch of gift cards that were valid but not working and he got it straight. Better order sooner than later, stuff is disappearing. Also, Tom or anyone that knows, what’s the max rear lift height on those OME N132Ls? I got some 4”...

    JBA LIFTS

Talk about a punch in the happy place, huh? I’m glad I wasn’t halfway through buying parts for my next build, but it still sucks that I’ve already invested a good bit in gift cards at JBA (my way of saving). The spring steel was the issue though? The email over the weekend talks about how far...

Frame Reinforcement for Hitch Receiver/Rear Bumper

Safety always makes sense, and that’s a good idea TC. I’ll get it checked over.

Frame Reinforcement for Hitch Receiver/Rear Bumper

Grade 5 for now, have 8s on order. Those self tappers are the ones we use to build the big metal buildings and such, but I did use plenty on each side.

Frame Reinforcement for Hitch Receiver/Rear Bumper

I broke my hitch bolts taking them off this past weekend, stealership cross-threaded 2 of 4. I put my thinking cap on and came up with this: I started by welding some 4x4x.25” angle iron onto each side of the hitch receiver, then knocking the factory hitch nuts out and retrieving...

    liberty lift help

Tom, all good on my end and I apologize for coming across as presuming Jason and yourself are close minded. That’s not what I meant. And Jason, I definitely understand what you meant. It just irked me a tad when you said there are no mystery scenarios left, came across as absolute and you...

    JBA Adjust-A-Strut Questions

I never disagreed with you with anything in this thread. How many PMs have a sent you over the years? You act like I’ve never confided in you at all. You do realize it’s quite the opposite right? Hence the PMs, directly to the person I thought most qualified to answer KJ questions. But that’s...

    liberty lift help

All I’m saying is no one should be slamming anyone for wanting to try something different. Now you’re trying to slam me and it’s so cute. I must have struck a nerve because there’s much more rambling than usual, lol. Quite inflammatory of you too, Tom. Show me where I accused anyone of not...

    liberty lift help

I run 265/75s on 16x8s with 4.5” of backspacing. I used to rub at full turn but an angle grinder, engineer’s hammer and some well placed tack welds work wonders. I’m not trying to take the wind out of your sails or start anything. Look what JBA just did with the long arm build. BDS before...

    JBA Adjust-A-Strut Questions

Definitely, going to get a locker as well while I’m at it. I’m not expecting the stock CVs to stand up to a whole lot of abuse at that point so may as well look into custom shafts. In the meantime though, how much do those reman CVs run at Napa? I can never get there before they close lol

    JBA Adjust-A-Strut Questions

I’ve been doing mine in stages. Been running the OME for awhile, but it’s not the endgame build. The only thing that will stay are my UCAs. The rear is always easier, had it mapped out for years. Custom heimed long arms to match the 4-link, blah blah blah. Not even going to say how high it’s...

    JBA Adjust-A-Strut Questions

Hello all, I got a few questions about the Adjustable struts from JBA, hopefully someone here has an idea. I’ll start by saying, I’m interested in them solely for the max ride height and the compact diameter of the strut itself to decrease coil spring contact. I don’t care about the...

    Horrible MPG

Hmm, good to know. I'm guessing downloading an app with a GPS mileage tracker will give me a much more accurate reading with the calculation. I had the speedo calibrated, but apparently that does nothing for the odometer. Regearing will fix this as well?

    Horrible MPG

I let it warm up a few minutes in the morning and then I go. Same in the evening after I'm off work. I have a short commute to work but it's all highway at 60 mph. When I take trips to town I reset the EVIC after I get going to see what I'm getting. It'll get up to around 15 or so but I don't...

    Horrible MPG

Hello all, Currently getting 11-12 mpg average per tank for the past few months or so. I've tried a number of things to try to fix the issue. - I Recently did plugs, NGK coppers. New PCV. Swapped two coil packs. - New IAC valve - cleaned throttle body - pulled vaccuum lines off my...

    02 03 04 KJ Renegade Flare - Front Passenger/Right

Hello all.... I've been scouring every possible source but I'm not having much luck. :help: I'm looking to buy a Renegade trim front right side fender flare (with the rivets) but it has to be the 02-04 body style. Color doesn't matter, and scratches are no big deal. Thank you in...

    Custom Front Bumper

It'll be overengineered when I'm done. Better than underengineered I'd say. Yes I built it. It will hold a winch. (TJ winch plate from Quadratec in pic 3 of first post) One 5/8" class 8 bolt will damn near lift the KJ off the ground from an engineering standpoint, I have two 5/8" class...

    2005 Jeep Liberty Sport vibration

Awesome, good luck. Depending on how the previous owner/s treated it, may be up for some TLC.

    2005 Jeep Liberty Sport vibration

Sounds like a CV or U joint to me as well. You could always remove the front propeller shaft, if the vibration is gone then it's one of those two CVs. (just don't use 4WD with the prop shaft removed). This shaft is constantly turning so you can shift on the fly to 4WD. But if you're not hearing...
