Where does this mythical department exist? We had a guy steal over $75,000 in material and an equipment trailer from our jobsite. I tracked the guy to a metal salvage yard and sent the Tulsa police department the guy's name, address, copy of his DL and pictures of the tag on his pickup...- Hockeygoon

Liberty has 0 lift, trailer was level - if anything slightly down in the front, its normally pulled by full size pickups with receiver hitches and the hitch is set to their height. cooling question
Remove the pet cock and try to poke through the gunk to get it to drain - then flush it out with water. I would definitely flush the heater core - the same gunk in the bottom of your radiator is in the bottom of your heater core. I've seen this a few vehicles - but usually they are 20+ years...- Hockeygoon

What did you do to your jeep today?
Same trailer that gets taken on 5 hour road trips on a regular basis. As for "loaded wrong" how do you incorrectly load 12' beams on a 12' trailer - unless you put them on sideways? I figure the spare tire placement is just a way for Dodge designers to tell the owner this vehicle isn't for towing.- Hockeygoon

Even with a video what are they going to find? Most likely some generic looking **** taking it and tossing it in the back of a pickup with no tag.... That's what we find on most of our construction site tapes. :shrug:- Hockeygoon

What did you do to your jeep today?
Even with a 3" drop the spare had to come off to hook it up. Then the thing was "twitchy" as hell going down the road. With only two wheels on the trailer when it began to rock back and forth a bit on the uneven pavement the Liberty rocked with it. Couldn't imagine what it would drive like...- Hockeygoon

Catalytic converter rattling.....going bad.....
Sounds more like the typical engine being run hard (I am assuming that was the point of running straight pipes) and a valve spring failed (or the keeper) - hardly an uncommon occurrence in the 3.7 or the 4.7.- Hockeygoon

Agreed on both. Back pressure is not needed for the engine to run properly but flow velocity is needed - and a gutted cat isn't going to effect that.- Hockeygoon

Cannot find coolant leak
I have never replaced a leaking radiator in my life and my current age of engines with radiators are 59 years old, 47 years old, 38 years old, 25 years old and several 1 to 10 years old. What you are in for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmI-5mfYrsw There is another one I couldn't find that showed 2 techs (older guy and a young woman) removing the dash, console and everything else in "fast forward". I believe they were going after the blend door and evaporator...- Hockeygoon

Jeep is smoking a tad...
Adding "STP" (honey oil) only starves parts of the engine for lubricant making your issues worse. Much better off just checking the oil more often and adding as needed. Moving up a to 15W40 might help a little but nothing fixes it except making the needed repairs.- Hockeygoon

Coolant leak
That explains a couple things. I notice when its being driven there doesn't seem to be much or any puddle - most likely burning off on contact with the hot exhaust pipe. When it sits over night the garage it leaves a mess.- Hockeygoon
