    Check engine light. Went into limp mode. Automatic transmission fluid sensor. Wouldn't let me clear it. Removed negative battery cable for 5 minutes to reset it and ran normal again. Still having the issue with almost stalling after stopping. Let me know how the higher octane worked. I'll keep...

    Yeah... Lucas didn't help me so i'm doubtful on that. Mine still stalls as well. I'm not sure where to turn to next. May end up bringing to Midas or a dealer... Just can't get the thing to stop stalling nor can I replicate it regularly. I can, however, get the RPMs to drop and growl at me more...

    Unhooked battery for 30 min to reset computer and then took it out for a drive and tested it a few different ways. Still growls sometimes after stopping but won't go below 500 rpms, not yet anyways. Replaced serpentine belt, should not be help for problem but recording all I do for thoroughness...

    I can't replicate the stall either. The vacuum hoses coming from the airbox to engine. They are on either side. They were bad and one disconnected. No stalls but rpms dropped a bit but nothing below 500 rpm. Think it runs better. Gonna keep replacing vacuum hoses and disconnect battery to reset...

    Problem with the torque converter is that you need to reach speeds usually over 45 on order for it to kick on... I am replicating this with going speeds under 40 mph do the overdrive does not kick in. That was the big problem, right? Overdrive bit disengaging quick enough? I read to check...

    Up Liberty, I have been having the same problems with my jeep. 2003 jeep liberty sport 3.7l and have no luck with it yet. you can check my thread... all plugs changed, air filter changed, IAC replaced and port for it cleaned, throttle body cleaner, fuel injector cleaner (lucas brand) used...

    New vacuum hose. Seafoam on through vacuum hose into cylinders to clean, ran on highway. Seems to be running well now, can't replicate the problem. Will keep posted. Thank you all for the help thus far!

    I did test the battery as well the other day after cleaning the terminals and tested full. Just adding it in since I passed over it before.

    I will look into getting one. In the meantime, my battery shows no signs of failing. Alternator is strong as well, just tested it. She starts right up and doesn't seem to have any issues otherwise. I did read something recently about people having tail lights short out partially and kill/weaken...

    Cleaned IAC port, cleaned battery terminals and cabling, checked for grounds, need to replace a vacuum hose or two but not too terribly bad... Runs better but same problem as before. Any other thoughts? Fuel filter? Anyone gave diagrams on how to change one? Not sure that's it though ...
