A/C Clutch Diagnosis Question
There are little shims installed behind the clutch plate......you remove as many shims as necessary to get the gap right......I work on alot of a/c systems.....one of the steps I do when servicing a system is set the gap as close to .013 mm's as possible. My 350 Swap Take-Two
With that much snow (cold weather), the guy should have went with some type of fuel injection system. Not a carb. Maybe something like a factory GM TPI unit (like those which came on Camaro's and Trans Am's). Those TPI units are dirt cheap and so are the aftermarket wiring kits for them.- megatone

Popping noise from front end???
C/V shaft on the passengers side, where it slips into the axle tube and rides on the bearing. Grab the c/v joint and see if it wobbles.- megatone

Two days to put together a pair of spring/strut cartridge's is a long time. Paying $60 to get them assembled is a good price for an hours worth of shop labor which, realistically, if you dropped off the strut assemblies yourself, it should take less than an hour to disassemble and reassemble...- megatone

Rear Wheels

Not a Jeep but thought you guys could help me
Something I just remembered for the OP to consider: There is a steering wheel position sensor in the steering column that assists the steering wheel to return it back to center. If you freely spun the steering wheel while the rack was off the vehicle....and then randomly lined up the steering...- megatone

07 vibration/noise issue
Could be that you have a worn out strut up front and you put a rear unbalanced tire up there and the spinning motion is causing the tire to 'bounce'.- megatone

Squeaky Squeaky after UCA/LCA/lift install
......could be the U joints......how many miles on the old one. Could be that the old U joint needle bearings have worn a 'comfortable spot' in the bearing cups and now that the lift has has been installed, the needles have moved to a place where the bearings are not 'worn into' yet. still a slight trans leak, kind of odd
Just a little tid-bit of info......whenever I need an odd ball size O-ring, for whatever, whether it's for a hydraulic line.....coolant line....air (turbo) oil feed line.....which ever, I always take the old O-ring (or part) down to a local agricultural parts dealer.....they seem to have all...- megatone

No!!! You will need to apply VACUUM to the system.....the vacuum tool costs right around $300.....you could borrow the vacuum pump from Autozone (giving them $300 deposit, which you will get back when you return the vacuum tool). Ac issue
This is probably the best way to go. Just because an a/c system has pressure does not mean the R134a chemical refrigerant is still active. The only reasons to put a vacuum on an a/c system is to test for leaks and to remove the moisture in the oxygen molecules contained within the air inside...- megatone

Upper control arms?
I remake/upgrade custom vehicles for a living at the shop I work at. Trucks, cars, fwd's, rwd's, awd's, 4x4's.....shop owner INSISTS on the wheel bearings being ONLY manufactured by Timken. Thier bearings cost a few bucks more, but I have NEVER known of any vehicle returning to the shop due to...- megatone
