    Yeah, the "blackening" of the wheels is pretty slight so far but I am noticing it on 3 of the 5. I may end up just getting a set of new wheels and putting some dedicated winter/snow tires on the stock rims and have 2 sets. Thanks for all the input.

    So my stock sport wheels are starting that transition from original silver painted color to the black undercoat. This is fine by me as I was thinking about spraying them black or dark grey anyway, that being said, is there any way to expedite this process besides sandblasting?

    Oh, 2 weeks, no way! 2 years or so ago I had a service loaner (a ford focus base model) for 1 day and could not wait to get my Jeep back because that was one POS. You couldn't pay me to drive one of those and I generally like fords.

    I just checked out that Curt hitch, looks pretty slick and the website includes install videos for the hitch and the wiring harness. Looks very simple all the way around. I will have to put this in my addon list.

    That seems to be the case here too. Plenty of KJs even some lifted and one with an ARB (not me, yet), but it seems as if all the Renegades are driven by women.

    That pentastar engine looks nice but is it a direct bolt in for the KK? That was the most appealing factor I saw for the new Nitro engine (if it bolts in, which I thought it would).

    I believe American Racing may have some steel versions otherwise ATX and XD make all sorts of black rims. Sorry I am not much help but at least it is a start.
