Your best bet and easiest way in my opion is to cut it down flush and then drill out remaning bold in down pip and just replace with your own bolt and washer.
Last night i was rotating my tires and i noticed that both sides of my rear axle have some play in them. You can move the axle in and out about 1/8" to 1/4". I was just wondering if that is normal or I'm getting ready to make a trip to junk yard to get a new rear end?

I would recomomend Auto Zone as well. I bought a semi-cheap set when i did my DayStar lift and although they worked they got all bent up so they ended up being a one time use tool that cost me $40.
