im not sure if its the same in the states but EVAP is an emission part which usually carries a very long warranty. Up here I believe it is around 160,000km or 6 years. It's worth checking out at your local dealership. The states could be different though.
ask her to move it or put it in her purse. If shes doesn't then it should become yours and then you buy stuff she hates with it just to piss her off! :P
If you can afford it look for professional installation of your brakes. These kinds of questions lead me to believe that you have little experience with replacing brakes, especially rotor/drum incorporated e-brake system. For simply safety reasons its always good to let the pro's do these job...
take it to a shop and have a compression test done. If you find low compression have them perform a leak down test to determine the source of the leak. If you have confirmed fuel and spark there is not a whole lot left to look at. A compression test will show if you have damaged valves, rings or...
Wow that was incredibly rude.... Thanks for summarizing my situation. If I were not on a "fly in reserve" maybe I could get shipping. It has only had road access for a couple years. Before you judge and poke fun at people its good to understand their circumstances and yes I could drive 2-3 hours...
I wish I could but the whole community shares the same local P.O. Box. Its a messed system. I guess that's what I get for teaching up here lol. I was afraid to mention it was a spacer lift for fear of criticism, its cheap < $80 and it will be fine until I get home and can order some nice stuff...
And no it will not be anything but a spacer lift as no one will ship to me except USPS(canada post) and no company that makes lifts for us will ship USPS because its to expensive, almost double the cost.
it doesn't just have good voltage is also has a higher then stated CA rating even at 108F. Its not your battery as I stated earlier. like others have said inspect the battery connectors and main power wire to the starter.
Well I'm looking into a 3" lift and I will need new rear shocks. First thing first I live in a very remote area and UPS and FEDex and Purolator will not ship to me. So buying from jeepin by al and other fine sellers of KJ products is out of the question. So my question to you it.
Is there a...
I wouldn't be so certain about the battery fixing this. Just from looking at the graph where it shows a voltage draw when the starter is engaged. You can never have 0 amps with over 11V. You may have a corroded main power wire to the starter or a failed starter solenoid/relay. The reason I say...
I was kinda wondering that. I understand all to well how these systems work. disabling ABS will decrease stopping distance in low traction weather and increase it in high traction weather (and yes I have physically testing this, it was my final research project in collage). There maybe some...
This is the first vehicle I have ever owned with all these nanny controls. There nice and I wouldn't drive around with them off for no reason. It would be off for parking lots or off-roading.
no laws on ESP up here. and I get no break for having it. I might install a switch into the fuse's power so I can switch the ABS on and off. That might work well.
Well today we had a foot of snow fall and I went out to have a little fun. Pushed the little ESP button to turn off nanny controls. Found a nice area to play around in and went for a slide and found the nanny controls were still on.... What a pisser. Is there a sure fire way to turn off these...
Thanks for the responses. I have been thinking of switching the pitiful stock fogs into my DRL's. If I run into a problem with the HID's light being to scattered I might eyelid the stock headlight assemblies. I think lids look good anyway. I use my aftermarket fogs as high beams. Ry' n Jen...
uumm.. slightly of topic. But as a licensed MOT (Ministry of transportation) technician there is no law in Ontario Canada that says the use of HID lights are illegal, however improperly aimed headlights will warrant a ticket. I was simply looking for someone who may have installed them before...
Well I have searched the forums but didn't pull anything up about HID lighting. Has anyone here successfully install a HID conversion kit in their Liberty (mine is a 2007). All I'm really worried about is if I will have the flicker problem. Some fords have this problem because of daytime running...
your clutch master cylinder will most likely not leak externally, instead it will have an internal leak which will cause lack of applied pressure which will act as though you have not fully depressed the clutch pedal. Does it become harder the shift the longer you have held the clutch down? For...
