Fully Flexed JK.....
At the Land Rover track again....a nice clean easy place to get to if you wanna check out the "flexing abilities". Not as good as the Rubi, I have no front sway bar disconnects... Hard to see, but the driver's front and passenger rear tires are almost off the ground. -
So I have a 2wd 07 KJ and was reading about lockers...
the ESP/Traction Control works "almost" like a limited slip anyway, so why go through the hassle of adding lockers? Sure, it might be a little different/better, but when I've been off road in our 2wd KJ I haven't had a problem with one tire spinning and the other doing nothing...it kinda...- 06Liberty

Yep, all new JK's come with skids for the gas tank, transfer case, and tranny if it's an auto. -

Can you even get the TPMS on an 05 SPORT? My mom's 05 Limited has it, but I've never seen it on a Sport...:confused:- 06Liberty

New Tires for Sport - 215/75R16
You don't necessarily have to get that same size, in fact, I doubt anyone will recommend getting that size again. The size that comes on most Liberty's now is either a 225/75R16 (what I have), or 235/70R16. Either of those should be ALOT easier to find, but you can also go up to a 245/70R16 on...- 06Liberty

You can get an Unlimted (4-door) JK in 2wd....and because it drives good, gets decent mileage, it's rear wheel drive and not front wheel drive like some of these other small SUV's that are actually based off of a car platform (ie the Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4, Chevy Equinox, etc., etc.)- 06Liberty

LOL, you oughtta see the Pink Flamingo she's got hanging from the passenger side dash handle thing! And nope, not exactly the Tomb Raider wheels, but close....Mickey Thompson Classic Lock's are the ones they used I think. They're so close though, you really can't tell the difference.- 06Liberty

OWL or Blackwall?
on stock wheels with no lift....OWL!! Blackwall in certain cases (like different wheels/lift), but for the most part I think blackwalls on stock(16") wheels make it look cheap.- 06Liberty

That's exactly my point. You live in Wisconsin right? Much different than Alabama....it's the complete opposite, I think I've seen maybe 2-3 4wd KJ's on the lot down here. Buying a 2wd KJ is not near as bad as getting a 2wd JK Unlimited like alot of people do...at least with the KJ you don't...- 06Liberty

Out of all the vehicles Jeep makes, there's not ONE that is excusively 4wd. Every vehicle they make comes in 2wd OR 4wd....It's an option like anything else, if you don't need/want power windows and locks then don't buy it...if you don't need/want an auto trans. then don't buy it.......same with...- 06Liberty

Why is it a waste? That's not a terrible price for an 06 with 15,000 miles....and not everybody needs 4wd, like me for example...Alabama doesn't get snow/ice that often so the need for 4wd here is not as high. Very nice! Any plans for it yet? New wheels/tires maybe? That's the only thing I really don't like about em is you have to get the Limited with the chrome 18" wheels to make it look right IMO.- 06Liberty
