    JBA Headers for Liberty

Please keep us up to date on your results..and if you wouldn't mind posting the installation costs, that would be great too. I put my own muffler on (no welding), but i would be hesitant to mess around in the engine bay. If I could break even or come close on the mod, it would be something i'd...

    Fog light wiring help needed

i probably didn't run my harness in the exact same spot as the factory/mopar instructions would, so i couldn't say for sure where it would be...here is the link to the pdf file from the howto section that has diagrams of where it should be...

    Fog light wiring help needed

Right now, i have my fog lights wired like this: I have a combination switch with the fog switch on the stalk, and i would like to use that instead of a separate switch. I've got a copy of the mopar installation instructions, but they aren't really helpful since i have a home made harness...

    Dino/Synthetic

i switched to mobile syn at my second oil change, and went to amsoi for the third. In that time, I've upgraded the exhaust system and air intake, so i don't know how much of the milage increase is directly due to the oil. Winters aren't cold here, and I wasn't having any strange noisea on...

    Question on K&N Air Intake/Air Charger/Performance Kit..

Yea, kind of..not quite a whistle but definately rushing air thru a small opening. Louder than the stock, but not loud enough to notice from inside the cabin. The reason i chose the 63 series over the 77 is that i didn't want a metal tube sound. If you don't mind the sound, then the 77 seems...

    Question on K&N Air Intake/Air Charger/Performance Kit..

A really good point....because generics aren't vehicle specific, at the very least you are going to run into installation problems. Mopar also makes a kit (which btw looks like the older K&N kit and inexplicably goes for $356, link here); on website for the dealership where i get most of of my...

    Question on K&N Air Intake/Air Charger/Performance Kit..

i have a 63-1103 in my KJ....Other than a different sucking sound, i didn't notice any gains until i paired it with a better exhaust system. Install was fairly painless tho, about 1.5 hours, a good chuck of it was wrestling the molding onto the heat shield.

    16x8?

wow that tire looks awfully close to the wheel well.....i'm running stock tires on rubicon rims on my unlifted KJ. I know it's a different tire size and BS, and the just the angle the picture is taken at could be deceptive, but that tire looks really close to the wheel well. My tires don't...

    Installing an auto dim mirror

yea that's a different plug than i have...scavenged my mirror off another '05 KJ, so i could use the service manual for a guide. its probably a gentex mirror, check for a model number...i believe my mirror was labeled gtx 187. If it is a gentex, the blue/wt would be power and the purple the...

    Installing an auto dim mirror

from the '04 service manual: 1 wt/bk fused ignition output 2 bk/lg ground 3 br/lg back up lamp feed 4 tn/or auto daynight mirror (+) 5 yl/bk auto daynight mirror (-) 6 not used 7 not used the last two wires are for the side mirrors...has anybody ever seen autodim side mirrors for the...

Gibson, Borla, or Magnaflow cat back system

I put the mopar dual exhaust in about three weeks ago; a couple weeks before that i put in a K&N FIPK. It really hasn't been that long with the new system for me either, but there has been some milage improvement so far. I was averaging about 21-22 mpg before, since the install its been around...

    Under seat Sub.

Thanks KJ33...i was looking into putting in a switch like my other car has that would turn the amp off. Listening to sports radio since the amp has been kind of unbearable...this is a much better solution. I don't know how much a professional charges an hour, but it took me a little over an...

Other Jeep wheels on a KJ

yup, i remember that thread...its the GC "snowflake" rims. Personally didn't like it, but it certainly is different....decide for yourself: http://www.lostkjs.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5496 I've also had '01 cherokee (not grand) rims on my KJ, they were basically the same rims the...

Other Jeep wheels on a KJ

Rubicon wheels fit...this isn't a picture of my KJ, but I've done the same thing as nitsudjs43, rubicon rims without lift and stock tires: http://jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2856

Handlebar above the glove-box to older models

the bar is extremely useful...i wrap my radar detector wire around it to keep it from getting in my way while i'm playing with the radio at 80mph. Seriously tho, if it wasn't for the seatbelt light, i'd get rid of the bar; i think my passengers would rather have the room.

    Renegade rims?

never seen 8 spoke (maybe you are thinking 6 spoke) rims, but this site has the least expensive 5 spoke charcoal rims that i found. Even with the free shipping, its kind of expensive, that's why i went the ebay route for other rims. They are also reconditoned, but i've had reconditioned...

    Anyone seen these??

lenses on ebay are always 02-04. i was hoping to see the same thing before i did my fogs so i only had to pull the bumper off once. Do 04 lights fit an 05? Maybe what they are selling is mislabled. i've seen plenty of things, like dash kits, labeled 02 and up. they obviously wouldn't work...
