    Mopar fog lights

    I just have the fogs, no light bar. The end of the stalk pulls out to turn on the fogs and a light on the dash goes on. I don't think it moves in any other way, so i think both icons are for the fogs. Could be wrong, never really tried moving it anywhere but out. Somebody with a renegade...

    Since i was out taking a pic of the steering wheel radio control, took one of the stalk. Picture didn't come out too well, but it should give you the idea. There might be a difference between what is available in the UK and US tho.

    I didn't...but it could have been a fluke thing. Nobody else that's done this mod in an '05+ has posted any results. Here's a pic of the back of my steering wheel, after the mod. Sorry about the crappy pic, camera phone, bad light.

    The mopar kit comes with a replacement for steering wheel column stalks with a pull out foglight switch. I've yet to see directions posted for the '05+ kit, hopefully somebody will take the time to scan them and post them.

    would you really have to take the bumper off? To install the sensors, wouldn't you would just have to drill the holes and run the wires into the control box? Drilling the holes for the sensor should be easier from the outside of the bumper. There are probably a few ways to get the wires...

    Do you mean a pigtail? You can use a slightly modified floppy drive power connector off a power supply as a substitute. Gives you more options if things don't work out with this one. Good luck on the auction.

    When i switched rims NTB charged me about $6/wheel to mount the sensors. Rocky04 basically has it covered, they are actually doing something for that charge. If you have an evic from an '04 or earlier, you can retrain your own sensors, altho any magnet as strong as the stock door speaker will...

    hyedipin, that's a really good idea. I have an older GC evic with a sunroof switch, i'll have to check the fsm and see if its even possible.

    Blu, thanks for the write up...after searching for power seat tracks for over 8 months i finally found a set that didn't come with the seats. I read thru this thread several time before i started putting in the tracks, and since i have an '05 checked my FSM. Turns out my FSM has some mistakes...

    I think I remember the thread you are talking about...something about someone buying a mopar sub and the seller telling them the wiring wasn't included because the KJ was pre-wired for a sub. I think that thread ended with the buyer getting his money back because the seller was completely wrong.
