Repacement PCM
Has anyone used SIA Electronics in Tilden Illinois for a rebuilt PCM? I have a 56044195AG PCM in my 2003 Liberty with 3.7L engine with code P0601 - bad PCM. More information on clogged filter Still have filter so will cut open to see what happened. The paint inside the transmission pan peeled off in several areas and was easy to flake off. The paint was missing on a 3 inch square area - not in the pan so I assume it is in the filter. My...- libertybob

Difference between 42RLE 4x2 & 4x4 Transmission
What is the difference between a 4x2 42RLE transmission and 4x4 42RLE? Can a 42RLE from a 4x4 be replaced with a 42RLE from a 4x2 Liberty? If yes, what has to be changed? Hmmm... Which trans? The build date on my 2003 Liberty Limited 4x4 is 06-03 or June 2003. I have the control module on the passenger side inner fender well and the rear transmission cross member with a curve toward the rear bumper (not a straight rear trans cross member).
