    Keep in mind that most shops have a computerized alignment system, so they may have more updated specs than these (if the specs have been updated since the KJ was new...I don't know if that is the case or not).

    Lots of codes all at once. Clean the battery terminals carefully and have the battery & charging system tested at a parts store.

    I wouldn't suspect a head gasket, as cyls 1 & 2 are on opposite banks. I think this is where I'd start. With the strands of cable exposed, corrosion can creep in and eat the cable from inside the insulation, where it won't be obvious. I would check the voltage drop across each cable while...

    It's hard to say. All I see for sure are some extra relays and inline fuses. When I installed a remote start unit in our KJ, it consisted of the unit itself, a small bypass module, and one relay. The exact location is up to the installer. Let us know what you find.

    I picked up a new regulator at NAPA. Redesigned, so it shouldn't break again, but lifetime warranty if it does.

    I used the Rust Cure 3000. I bought the gallon jug and also their spray gun. I also ordered a couple of the aerosol cans for getting into tighter places. The aerosol product DOES drip or run easier than the thicker bulk stuff, but seems to set up after it sits for a while.

    This year, I bought and applied some Corrosion Free coating. I did a lot of research about the different brands. Application went according to the company's claims (product was drip-free). The product seems to stick very well, and is odor-free.

    One more thing: the panel below the steering column has hinges at the bottom, making access/inspection easy. Grab it at the top and give it a pull!

    Mopar offered a remote start kit for the Libby, but it could just as easily be an aftermarket unit. You'll just have to search under the dash to find it.

    Well, no. A trans can survive 120k on the original ATF (though it's far from ideal); an engine wouldn't survive 120k on the same oil. Anyway, we obviously disagree. We've both made our points, and have different opinions. Nothing wrong with that. :favorites13:
