    A/C not working

My '06 is doing this exact same thing. And I'm in PHX too. Way to fawking hot for AC troubles. If you get it fixed post up what the issue was. Plan on bringing mine in to get fixed next week. If I don't melt first.

    Armie - My '07 Sport 4x4

Wolverines! Go Blue! :D Nice lookin' KJ you got there. Where is Bull Gap? That looks like a pretty cool spot. Might have to take my dad's AWD Astro van next time I'm in the murder mitten.

    Need help

Can't swap out upper ball joints unless you have aftermarket A-arms. You need to replace the entire A-arm assembly which contains the ball joint. Being that you have a lift investing in JBA A-arms might be the way to go. Stock A-arms tend to rub on the coil springs of the front shock; ball...

    Just bought a 2006 Renegade...

Quite possibly the greatest jeep ever made in my humble opinion. Welcome. Looks you are missing some lights on your bumper though.

    Re-treaded mud tires

I ran Guard Dog's for 30,000ish miles. I liked them much better than actual MT/R's. Didn't chunk in the rocks, wore really well, and were quiet (relatively) for the first 15,000 miles or so. All in all a pretty good experience. Just don't wear 'em down to nothing; mine literally came apart...

    Tire Relocation!!!

I haven't seen anything. Seems like it would be a problem since the rear door / tailgate / whatever it is called, swings up. The struts probably wouldn't hold the additional weight of the spare. Maybe it would though. A custom bumper with swing out tire carrier would be a good option and...

    Anyone running Hankook DynaPro ATm's?

Ran into my first issue with the Dynapro's so I figured I would bump this. Went cruising around the river bottom not far from home, nothing crazy; a few branches, small rocks, plenty of sand, and whatnot. Next morning the front passenger side tire was pretty low, but not flat. Gave it a once...

    help me pick some A/Ts

I have never had the factory tires on my KJ, but have had MT/R's, Treadwright Guard Dog's, and now the Hankook Dynapro ATm's. For the money the Dynapro's seem like a steal. Got mine for $98 a piece with replacement certs. Have held up fine to desert wheeling and sharp ass rocks. Smooth and...

Lower ball joint - grease out = bad

If your gonna swap out the ball joints RockAuto has the Moog ones for $35. They were running $60 ish and change at my local parts store; so if you have the time I'd definitely get them from RA.

    Need a 2nd Opinion

I think they are really quiet. I have only ran MT's up until these turrs though, so my experience might be slanted. :D

    Need a 2nd Opinion

I don't know much about Ironman springs but with 2+ inches of lift you should be able to fit 245/75/16's no problem. 245/70/16 will look to small and you will wish you had gotten 245/75's. As for the tires, I really really like my DynaPro ATm's. Awesome tire for the money. Never really liked...

    2014 Jeep Cherokee Pics

There will be no aftermarket. There is hardly anything for the Liberty and look what is out there for the Patriot and Compass... Pretty much nothing. Just another car based monstrosity to sell to the masses of latte sipping yuppie suburbanites who NEED something with 4WD / AWD to get them...

    Sway Bar Bushings

I cheaped out and got these: Sway Eliminator Cushion - Front 52088778AB They came in a Crown Jeep Replacement Parts box. For 3 bucks a piece they have been good so far. Haven't had them very long though.

    New Tires

If you liked your Hankook's stick with them. I really dig my Hankook DynaPro ATm's. Have been a great all around AT tire. They come in both Load Range E and P metric in 245/75/16. They would fit the description your looking for. I don't know how much they run in your neck of the woods but I...

    Steering column height locking lever

I zip tie that sumbitch in place when it starts to act up. It's a real PITA sometimes. Subscribed to see if the new guy comes up with a good fix.

Corral Canyon run with LostJeeps So Cal

Wally is a cool dude. Wheeled with him in Moab a few years ago. His Jeep is bad ass. That looks like an awesome trail. Haven't hit any trails in Cali yet. Finally got my Jeep back in wheeling shape. Keep telling myself I shouldn't get back in the rocks though; breaking stuff costs to much. :D

Upper Control Arm and a few other Questions

Replace the whole control arm. I recently bought Raybestos UCA's and they looked identical to the stock ones; have been good so far and seem solid. They come with new bushings too, so you don't have to worry about replacing those as well. If you decide to replace your lower ball joints, don't...
