They tell you never to leave ammo in your car in the hot sun. The temp gets to be well over 100 inside, and the powder can get sticky and almost melt in a way. I waited an extra 1000 miles on my last Oil change . . . 4000 instead of 3000, and damn, did it make all the difference for the worst. That stuff came out black and super thick. Never wait that long. I guess the 3.7 give the oil a good work out in a short time.- SMETNA

Service Contracts After 100,000 miles
That's what I did. It was $2000, for a lifetime powertrain warranty with a $0 deductible. I'm already using it to get the rear diff fixed for whining. I plan on keep this vehicle until 2020 or longer. (Even though we only have 2 more years until armageddon ;) )- SMETNA

Noisy rear end
Does this sound similar? http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45076 You may need the rear diff checked. Mine is having the same issue at 30k miles, and the bearings are getting replaced. Yours Shouldn't be $900 though.- SMETNA

How to drive a 4X4?
On mine, you need to be completely stopped to shift into 4lo. If I do the neutral- 2-5mph thing, I get all kinds of "kuhCHUNK" gear sounds as they line up wrong. The mechanic at the shop told me there's nothing to worry about when shifting at a dead stop, and I'd bypass all the painful...- SMETNA
