What is the actual part number for the shocks? The part numbers from the thread don't cross over to what I'm seeing. There's a 185859 and 185240. Thanks for the help guys. Looks like my Monomax shocks are lost so if that's the case then I'm canceling and getting the Bilsteins.
If the shock was under warranty then I would've went to the manufacturer to get it replaced since the vendor did nothing. I've never had a problem with Amazon not honoring returns in a timely manner. Obviously ebay has its issues but I've always gotten a refund from them too. Rockauto has...
KYB aren't bad shocks. I've seen a lot of hate on them but no one is really saying why? The monomax is a monotube design, is adjustable, and is half the price of the Bilsteins. Seems like a no brainer to me.
I know Jeeps running around on pro-comps that love them, but if you read any...
Heavy duty front and back. Bilsteins front. KYB Monomax rear. Price is what really did it for me. I won't be offroading much so I couldn't see spending that much more for Bilstein.
Will I need to shim the front with just the OME springs or will it sit level without the shims? Also, will I need the special mounting kit for the Kyb's in the rear?
Which daystar rear bumpstops should I be going with? I'm guessing anyone of them that has a similar thickness and diameter to a hockey puck will work just fine. Also, where is the cheapest place to get new rear lower isolators? I bought the Libby already lifted with a spacer lift so I'm going...
Since many things have changed since the original sticky started, can someone update the lift information with current? I ask because I'm looking at the Ranchos but want to make sure that the rear is correct. The front are RS5764 and the rears are RS5248. Thanks for the help.
How do you like the H&R springs? I'm probably going with this same setup except I won't do the clevis or use the extra isolator back aft. I'm hoping the top plates front only will level out the libby.
