    Alternators

    I am considering changing to the 160 amp alternator. Does anyone know what ones are interchangeable? I am finding that the the part number 56029-914AA is a direct replacement fit. This is a part that comes off of the Dodge Durango and Dakota's I think. Any thoughts?

    As bad as my back is I will only ride short distances in my friends built TJ. My KJ goes every where that his does and I don't feel like I've been jumped on. I think that you probably need to get a wrangler so you can gripe about it.

    The general grabber's AT II's rubber compound has supposedly been reformulated (it was too soft causing a short treadlife). I was told that this was part of the problem that caused a national backorder. They have a tread life rating of 50,000 miles I believe.

    Reception Look on EBAY for this Seller: antenna xperts. You can get a replacement antenna mast that is the same as OEM or a short (13" or 14") metal or rubber antenna for around twenty bucks. if it is just a mast that broke off a new one just screws into the mount.:smokin:

    Here in the States almost all of the DIY air conditioning refills have compressor oil in them. I would think that compressor oil should be used every time you have to recharge the air conditioner.
