Certified Used Question - Anyone with dealership experience?

has the cash cleared? I would drive that right back and tell them you want what you bought, which is everything listed on the window sticker. if it wasnt certified but says it was, then you should have a certified truck. the left hand isnt always talking to the right hand at dealerships...

    OBD II Code Reader.....

buy one that you will work into over time. Too many times I hear people starting cheap, and then down the road wishing they had one that had more options. Nice options are real time data, making sure it can read and clear, not just read. innova makes some nice unites, check amazon and other...

    Help-Wrong Lights stay on in 4PT, N and 4Lo

Cool, let me know, I am planning on the same. Although the thought of my wet garage floor keeps me from doing it.

    Help-Wrong Lights stay on in 4PT, N and 4Lo

bump, hey man, did you ever attempt this? I cant find a crow foot to fit, and mine is seized pretty good. I have it sprayed and soaking in PB right now. I would like to get it off, and the linkage and get this figured out, dont like how it is driving now, shifting is crap.

    tcase linkage

does the linkage ever need adjustment? I know it is cable drive, so maybe it gets too slack or too tight to not allow full movement?

    drain plug in trans pan

i still dont see where you would do this and make it worthwhile. the nut on the back will be your low point for fluid, so you will have say a quarter inch of fluid in the pan when you drain, across the whole area, plus any flecks, etc.

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

have you checked and or tested your battery and alternator, specifically the alternator?

    drain plug in trans pan

i would be nervous about tapping a hole in the pan. you would need some beef back behind the tapped hole to make it secure, is that what you were referencing to when you said have it welded? its a good idea, but this pan is thin on its own. even if you welded something thicker on the back...

    back brake pads--how much?

come on dude, there are times you can put new pads on without having to turn or replace the rotors. I am not saying everyone should, but if you can check for glazing or warped rotors and assure you don't have either, you can throw just pads on. glazing isnt even that bad, you can cut the glaze...

    Should I buy a KJ?

Have damn near 100 on mine, there are others with more, but there isn't as much history to fall back on, yet. That being said, most people aren't having issues, even at those miles. If you're asking for honest input, 8500 for a liberty with 100k, 4x2, all highway...not a chance I would buy...

    Snorkel caps facing forward...why?

I would not close the drainhole, usually don't need to do that when installing a snorkel. You could get a one way valve though. Forward is just to allow for air flow, because it is up higher, and also a longer travel for dust before the filter, you decrease the dust collection. Some...

    Cylinder Misfire

I wouldn't say champions are bad. may not be the best for this engine, but they are perfect in other applications. my ngk's that I pulled out were stock, they looked fine, had 70k miles I think it was. the autolites that are in now seem to be fine, single platinum

    Help-Wrong Lights stay on in 4PT, N and 4Lo

cleveland, damn, that would have been great. I have a feeling mine is siezed on pretty good. let me know if you end up wanting the part shipped out. I don't know who the parts people are for these vehicles, I would assume someone sells parts from wrecks, or there is a good indie that can...
