Lift the Ladies Mall Crawler
You don't have to be wheeling hard to get the front flexed to the point where the springs are binding, even some mild obstacles could do it. Bottom line is with the extended bumpstops in you prevent that from happening regardless of the difficulty of the terrain.- Corwyyn

What type of paint to use?
So you're looking at something like this: Probably won't look too bad with the basic plastic finish on the mirrors and lightbar, but if you do decide to paint it make sure you remove any leftover Armorall or other plastic treatment residue, otherwise it'll probably cause the paint to flake...- Corwyyn

Unless you're planning on replacing them I would not recommend that you use pickle forks on any of the ball joints - trust me, I've been there. Plenty of info on how to get things apart without them in a couple of threads on here, I'll dig them up for you. I'm running the Daystar on my Jeep...- Corwyyn

Yeah I seem to recall a thread about that over on LOST, although after the first couple of pages it got way off-track. But as stated by more knowledgable people in that thread you would still have the inherent weak spot of the D30a front diff in the mix, plus other associated problems. Why...- Corwyyn

$5000 for 12" is it worth it?
It's a great lift if the only thing you want to do is go to the mall and crawl over curbs. There have been so many issues with that lift that I don't think they even stock it anymore. Better to get a JBA 4" or 6" if you want more height, or if you want to throw lots of money at it you could do...- Corwyyn

HOW TO: Determine what errors a check engine light represent
P0038 02 Sensor Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Shorted condition detected in the oxygen sensor heater element control feedback sense circuit. Found it in a list on a site for WJs (but I believe the codes are the same for all Jeep models). -

That's kind of the situation a lady here in Phoenix has - she has an XJ that she wheels pretty good and she has already had to have one crack in the unibody frame repaired and is waiting to get funds to get a second one done. Electronic Beep from KJ... Am I going crazy?
It's some kind of confirmation beep coming from the BCM which is located behind the fuse panel on the left side of the dash. Mine has done it all along, but I only notice it about one in three times now, and mostly when the doors auto-lock at 15mph.- Corwyyn

Please Explain these specs?
More expensive than lockers (even the full-blown e-lockers or ARB versions). You are looking at getting the selec-trac t-case, then IIRC you need to change the rear driveshaft since the selec-trac is longer than the command-trac (might have to change the front DS too?).
