    Diffs, tranny and transfer breathers

The Southern and Northern Hemisphere have seasons at different times. So Alex already had summer when we had winter and vice versa.

    Wheelin' in the JK...pics/video

Awesome looking JK. Great videos and shots. You could get one of these if you want a side mirror with the doors off: http://www.quadratec.com/products/13120_02.htm

    sagging

There should be a sticker label on the springs. For the rear it should say OME 948; for the front OME 927

    Improved my gas mileage

Go to autozone and pickup one of those 99-cent pen style tire gauges. I like to set mine at 35psi cold.

    Biased, or don't care?

Yup, like Tom said, 235's are too skinny for a 8" rim. You will need at least 245's.

    help with this

Would not go with a 3" spacer. Swmpthing's rig is highly modified to accommodate that lift combo. A 3" spacer will kill all your suspension components and CV's. Like Troy said, get a OME lift and be done with it the first time. I have OME Medium springs and Rancho shocks and love the ride. The...

    Removal of Badges

Make sure you have plenty of dental floss. They rip very easily. Fishing line works better. I'm in the process of debadging. So far, I took out the front Jeep emblem. If you leave your Jeep out on a warm sunny day, you won't need a hair dryer or heat gun. You'll need an adhesive remover, like...

    Turning a 2wd into a 4wd

Not worth it. Just trade it in for a 4x4. Don't even know why Jeep makes 2wd models anyway.

What if you lost your KJ?

Hmmm....tough question. I always wanted a Wrangler, but with gas quickly reaching $4/gallon. I'm thinking I want something more fuel efficient, but not a pansy Prius (no offense to Prius owners out there). I'm thinking like a motorcycle. But living in Michigan, I would only be able to use it 5...

    How many?

If you get the Daystar 1.5" front/2" rear lift then add OME coils you would then have the frankenlift. You would need the Daystar upper strut plate. You then have the choice to remove the rear 2" spacer and go for a OME.

Taching at Highway speed with new 245's

That only about 70mph. At 70 with 235/70 i'm doing about 2300-2400 rpms.

    How many?

^ I agree. If you have to go for a spacer, get a Daystar. All others suck.
  17. jeepkj02

    How many?

Off the top of my head: Daystar - they have more than one Rusty's OTT Rocky's Combo Rocky's OTT Teraflex Rough Country (front spacer/rear springs)

So far my recalled (F-23) lbj have held up well (knock on wood). I've been wanting al's a-arm, so this might be a good excuse to buy them.

    Drivetrain Fluid Intervals & Capacity's & Types

Thanks. :) As for the bleeding the brakes, It is recommended to do it once a year. So I figured 12,000 is a good number. I agree it is a bit much, maybe 25K is a better figure?
