You will need Daystar strut mounts to make the spacer fit within the coil assembly. I would avoid any plates or spacer that mount above the coil assembly (OTT style). It would be better to do a clevis lift instead. With this setup the front should be higher than the rear.
Might give it a try this sometime this week. I'll cover the PCM and alternator with tin foil, just to be extra safe. Do you have to grease anything afterwards (hood latch, tensioner, etc...)What kind of degreaser do you like?

It has 800 CCA / 1000 CA with a reserve capacity of 100 minutes.
EDIT: forgot to mention it is a 34/78, so I had to cut the battery...
I would really like to wash my engine, but I'm too scared of hydrolocking it or shorting it out. I think I would feel better if I removed the alternator and blocked off the intake. What about the engine and tranny computer, are those sealed good.
